Chapter 12: The Comeback
“what’s wrong with my heart?”
Shin Hye is lying on her bead, looking blankly at the ceiling when Geun young excitedly come in to her room.
“yah! Are you alright?” Geun Suk asked
“oh you’re here. Welcome back” she said
“what’s wrong? You look like you’re in deep thinking” Geun Young said
She shook her head and sits on her bed, she ask Geun Young to sit beside her.
She told her the confession of geun suk. Geun Young is not surprised, like Shin Hye’s reaction when she heard it because Geun young already thinks that he really likes Shin hye.
“so I’m correct” Geun Young said
“eh?”
“well, actually I already knew it, or should I say that I already feel that he likes you” Geun Young explained
“how?” shin hye asked
“hey, think about this, he will not spend his time doing everything for you if it doesn’t mean anything” Geun young said
“I thought that what just friends do” she said
“so what did you tell him?” Geun Young excitedly asked
“nothing. I don’t know what to say, I didn’t expect it” Shin Hye said
“oh yes, I forgot, you already told me that you’re not going to fall in love anymore. But sis, don’t say anything that you think it will happen in the end. We don’t know what’s going to happen in the future” Geun Young said
“I know. but I swear, I felt like my heart jumps out of it’s place when I heard it” she explained
“you know I think little by little you’re learning to like Geun Suk. But how about Hyung joon, what if he comes back?” Geun Young seriously said
“I don’t know” Shin hye paused
“I think it’s better not to meet again the person you loved most because it’s easy to let go when the only thing you know is he give up and left you” She continued
She took a deep breath and “Yah! Enough about me, tell me why do you look excited when you enter here?” shin hye asked
“well…uhhm.. it’s because.. I already accepted Hongki’s proposal” Geun Young shyly said
“really? Yah! That’s great” Shin Hye cheery aid
Shin Hye is happy for geun Young, she knows that Hongki will not hurt her because she knows that he loves her friend so much that’s why she really likes him for her friend from the beginning.

“Hey bro, Guess what, Geun Young already accepted my proposal to be her boyfriend” Hongki excitedly said
“really?”
“yes! Yes!”
“Then that’s good. You finally become a man” Geun Suk said
“should we celebrate?” Geun suk added
“is it okay to celebrate with the ladies?” Hongki asked
Geun Suk paused for a while and then “sure” he said

“you have no schedule for tomorrow right?” Geun Young asked
“none, why?” Shin hye asked
“well, hongki called to have a lunch tomorrow, with you and Geun Suk” Geun young explained
“should it be just the two of you only?” Shin hye said
“no, it’s a group”
Shin Hye doesn’t want to go but she can’t think of any valid excuses. She’s still not ready to face Geun Suk but she had no choice but to go since it’s her bestfriends celebration.

Geun Suk and Hongki is waiting in the car while Shin Hye and Geun Young is still inside their house.
Shin Hye sighed before opening the door
“if you don’t feel like going, it’s okay. I can tell them that you have something to do” Geun young said. Geun young knows what Shin Hye feel that’s why she doesn’t want to force her friend.
“no, Im okay” shin Hye said

“hi” Hongki greeted. He gave Geun Young a kiss on a cheek and wave to Shin Hye.
As she enters the car, Geun Suk greeted her but she just smiled. Then Geun Suk started the car. Shin Hye is quietly looking outside the window.
“I should not told you that” Geun Suk said
“eh?”
“you became uncomfortable with me again, like the first time I drive you home” Geun Suk said
“yah! I’m not. I’m not even thinking about it. I just don’t feel good today” Shin Hye said
Okay, she lied, because since his confession, what he said is the only she thinks about. She acted naturally so Geun Suk believed of what she just said. But when she said that she don’t feel good, it’s true, it’s like she woke up in the wrong side of the bed, that it’s like something’s not good id going to happen.
“yah! Bro, what are you talking about?” Hongki asked
“hey, don’t mind him. Just continue talking” Geun Young said
“hey, don’t listen to what they’re talking about” Geun young said to Hongki

They are talking while waiting for the order. When the waitress came “excuse me, do you mind taking us a photo for a remembrance?” Hongki asked
“sure” The waitress said
The waitress take a picture of Hongki and Geun Young first then Geun Suk with Shin Hye and lastly she take a group picture.

Geun Young and Shin Hye is in the living room looking at the pictures
“hey, no meaning, but you two looked good here” Geun Young complimented while holding the picture of Shin Hye and Geun Suk
“Yah! What do you mean with “no meaning”” shin hye sarcastically asked
“Nothing” Geun young laughed
They were distracted when the doorbell rung
“I’ll get it” Geun young said while heading towards the door while Shin Hye is left in the living room staring at the picture of her and Geun Suk while smiling.
“what are you doing here?” Geun Suk said loudly
Shin hye heard it and got curious so she heads to the door as well.
“Why? geun young? Who is it?” Shin Hye asked
Then she looked outside and “Hyung joon” she whispered
, a hug & no apology required cos me, & i think da rest r mre than grateful for any update albeit it everyday or once a while so again, hontoUni ARIGATO, really THANK U
