[FT News] FTISLAND Lee Hongki To Try Out As Pro Bowler



FTISLAND Lee Hongki is trying out as a professional bowler.

According to Korea Professional Bowling Association (KPBA) on October 13th, Lee Hongki applied to take part in the 2016 Korean Professional Bowler’s selection rounds for its 22nd class. KPBA says Lee Hongki will try out with actor Kim Soohyun. Recent reports say the two celebrities even practiced together.

Lee Hongki is scheduled to be at the roll call on October 21st. That’s when he will get his uniform, lane assignment and the last round of practicing.

The 1st qualification round is on October 22~23. The 2nd round is on October 29-30. If he passes all rounds, Lee Hongki will start training on December 14th.

Kim Soo Hyun and Lee Hong Ki's intense bowling practice pays off

Kim Soo Hyun and Lee Hong Ki continue to impress by working towards an additional title, professional bowlers. The actors participated in the first round of a qualification bowling for pro-bowlers on 22nd October. Competing against 114 participants, Lee Hong Ki came in 27th place, and Kim Soo Hyun took the 10th place.

In order to become a pro bowler, the two must pass the second qualification round to be chosen to get professionally trained as professional bowlers.The next round will be held on the 29th and 30th of October. | Source: dramafever

Actor Kim Soohyun and Lee Hongki both fail to qualify as professional bowlers.
The second round for qualifications was held few days ago (October 29th, 30th). The qualifying scores were 200 on average across 15 games throughout the day. Kim Soohyun scored an average of 192.4 while Hongki scored 172.2.



Earlier, both of them were offered the chance to qualify by pro bowling authorities when they passed the first round but they declined the offer and decided to play for the second round together with the other participants. Salute them for that!

Its OK Hongki, Soohyun. At least they got such a precious experiences + lots of new friends from it.
