Lee Hong Ki chooses the army over giving birth



F.T. Island’s Lee Hong Ki showed his respect to all of the pregnant mothers suffering through labor.

On the 13th, on KBS’s ‘Happy Birthday’, Hong Ki could not hide his feelings after watching a pregnant woman go into labor on the show.

He said, “It looks so hard. If I were in that situation, I’d rather go to the army”, which has been garnering much attention.

In this episode, he also made an embarrassing confession to MC Lee Kyung Kyu. He revealed, “I don’t get acne on my face, but I get pimples growing on my butt and stomach. Even if I keep squeezing them, they keep coming out”, which made the whole studio burst into laughter.

Lee Hongki was careful of His Image on Flight

FT Island member, Lee Hongki, shared with viewers an interesting story of a fan on the programme “Happy Birthday” which was aired on the 13th.

Lee Hongki revealed that, “It was during our Asia tour, when we took a flight to Thailand. There was an overseas fan sitting beside me. She talked to me and even gave me presents. I had to take note of my image throughout the 7 hour flight.”

He continued, “It was a long flight but I couldn’t sleep. I had to eat carefully and make it a point to wipe my hands with the wet towel given. I even turned on my notebook and pretended to compose lyrics.”
