FT Island, New JP Single Oricon Top 10
5 member Idol band FT Island is on the winning streak in Japan.
FT Island released their second single 'Brand-New Days' on the 14th since debuting in Japan's major music market.
This single ranked 8th on Japan's best selling album research chart Oricon Daily Single Chart. With this, FT Island successfully entered both of their singles released for the major music market inside Oricon Daily Chart Top 10.
Prior to this, FT Island released their first single 'Flower Rock' for the Japan's major music market last May 19th and ranked 3rd on Oricon Daily Chart on the day of release.
FT Island has been presenting their albums through Japan's indie lable until last year and has signed a contract at the beginning of this year with Warner Music Japan and entered the Japan's major music market last May.

FT Island blasts off their first Japan Tour
The popular rock band FT Island blasted off their first national tour since debuting in Japan.
FT Island, who officially debuted in the Japan's pop scene with single 'Flower Rock' last May, started off 'Zepp Tour 2010 - Hands UP' on the 16th at Tokyo Odaiba Zepp Tokyo.
At this stage, FT Island performed about 20 songs centered around refreshing songs to suit the summer mood and also sang passed away Park Yong Ha's drama 'On Air' main title song 'One Word.'
Members added that "We are so excited to tour around more places than before to perform and we are anticipating each prefacture's delicious food."
They also said "We are very happy to appear in the global Rock festival 'Summer Sonic 2010.'
We are brainstorming various ideas to decorate a fun 30 min stage for everyone. We also hope to stand on Fuji Rock Festival stage one day."

FT Island Starts Japan Tour Tokyo-Osaka 3000 seats Sold Out
5 member band FT Island, who successfully debuted as a major label in Japan, began 'Zepp Tour 2010 - Hands UP.'
The tour that began in Tokyo featured 20 ALL LIVE performances, which included major debut songs like 'Flower Rock' and 'Brand-new days,' as well as songs from Indie days.
The concert that took place on the 16th was sold out of its 3,000 seats and brought their popularity alive. Other than Tokyo, the concert in Osaka which houses around 3,000 was also sold out.
After debuting as a major label, FT Island showed an amazing result by topping both singles 'Flower Rock' and 'Brand-New Days' in Oricon Daily Chart as no. 3 and no. 8 respectively. Starting from Tokyo on the 16th, FT Island will perform at Nagoya, Fukuoka, Osaka, and Sendai. On August 14th, they will hold their final performance at Tokyo Hibiya Outdoor Music Hall.
Also on August 7th, FT Island will appear on the global rock festival 'Summer Sonic 2010.' FT Island are growing to have their musical talents and skills acknowledged.
