Kim Woo Bin & Park Shin Hye Receives International Popular Actors’ Awards

Actors Kim Woo Bin and Park Shin Hye received the international popular actor's and actresses's awards in the China 2013 TV Drama Awards, which took place in Beijing, China, in the afternoon of Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Actors Kim Woo Bin and Park Shin Hye received the international popular actor's and actresses's awards for their roles in the recently ended SBS Wednesday Thursday drama, "The Heirs."

Even before the awards ceremony, the fans waited five to six hours to see the two stars of "The Heirs." When Kim Woo Bin and Park Shin Hye took their first steps at the red carpet, the scene was filled with the shouting of the fans. On that day's ceremony, Kim Woo Bin and Park Shin Hye wore a black suit and a black dress, showing off their couple look.

Park Shin Hye, who was nominated as the international popular actress's award in the awards ceremony, introduced herself with fluent Chinese. Park Shin Hye said, "I appreciate the fact that the drama 'The Heirs,' which a lot of fans in Korea loved, is also very popular in China. I am honored that people of different culture sympathized with the story of the drama and loved watching it."
Meanwhile, Kim Woo Bin and Park Shin Hye from their roles as Choi Young Do and Cha Eun Sang in "The Heirs" attracted a lot of popularity from their fans in China, in addition to the fans in Korea.

My Note: Shinhye has really done marvellously in learning different languages. In order to interact better with people she made the effort to learn Chinese, Japanese and English( as we saw her accent in Heirs ost story) too. Well done Shinhye. I am sure your Chinese fans must have been happy and appreciated your efforts in learning their language
Shinhye and KWB really would be great in as main leads in a project because both have great presence and are charismatic stars. But, I would never want them to be involved other than being friends since I respect his two year relationship with his model girl friend whom he took lot of pain and effort to convince of his sincerity. It must be tough on his girl friend to read all these news about them being together. I would not like to add to that. But, I would love to see Shinhye being loved and treasured in the same way by her future boyfriend or husband.

@ sis elana: Min Ho was nominated too BUT for City Hunter which was 2 years ago!! I'm not sure why he wasn't nominated for Heirs!

Basically, both just stated how honored they are winning the popularity award and just so pleased that the audience enjoyed Heirs. Shin Hye's Chinese was so cute and not bad at all. She even finished off with Merry Christmas! Woo Bin's translation was cut off.

The other nominees were Jang Dong Gun and Song Hye Ko. These 2 are veteran actors but they can't beat our lovely Shin Hye!

Too bad we couldn't get to see the hug and Min Ho's message. It does look like Anhui Awards will be broadcasted on the 30th!
