A teaser of "Pinocchio" which is being released on November 12, was revealed on October 25.

The teaser showed Lee Jong-suk participating in a quiz program called, "Quiz Champion". His hair is very messy and he is wearing school uniforms.

The teaser shows Lee Jong-suk solving a problem which says, "This syndrome has symptoms of hiccupping when someone is lying".

The short teaser foresees Lee Jong-suk going through a major change in the drama and forming a romance structure with Park Shin-hye.

Meanwhile, "Pinocchio" is about a man who lives a lie and a woman who can't lie, which stars Lee Jong-suk, Park Shin-hye, Kim Yeong-kwang, Lee Yoo-bi and others.

SBS keeps pulling back the curtains little by little on upcoming Wed-Thurs drama Pinocchio. Compared to the teaser that dropped last weekend I’m much more pleased and relieved with the first batch of official character stills from the drama. Starring Lee Jong Seok, Park Shin Hye,Kim Young Kwang, and Lee Yoo Bi, Pinocchio follows a team of city beat network reporters and comes from the successful production team behind I Hear Your Voice. The underwhelming video teaser featured Lee Jong Seok sporting a countryside hobo hair at a game show trying to answer a question about the Pinocchio hiccuping syndrome.



Thank god that looks like a temporary high school era look since his character still shows him with a decidedly fashionable and sane male hair style. Park Shin Hye looks really slimmed down in her still, her face is uncharacteristically angular and the chic navy pinstripe suit emphasizes her new sleeker physique. Both leads are convincing as twenty-something newbies in the reporting world. Kim Young Kwang appears to have borrowed Rain’s agency president wardrobe from My Lovely Girl while short-hair Lee Yoo Bi is adorable but makes her look like a high school student playing dress up.




My Note: like I said earlier......positive reception to the info in regards to this drama, artists, characters etc.

I think they released the news earlier because of everyone literally demanding any news......so we can actually pat on our shoulders...

Cha-ok is in her late 40s but still has young and gracious look, and has a legendary career as a reporter.

She was the 1st female captain of open-air news station reporters in charge of Seoul City Police Department, and had been assigned twice as overseas correspondents, which is hard to do just once. She has worked restless with a self management that she can run a full course of marathon, and a desire for winning that she never loses to anyone whether it's news reporting or alcohol drinking. So, it wasn't surprising that she become a head of social affairs department and at the same time the 1st female main anchor of open-air news station as soon as she came back from an assignment as a correspondent to Washington D.C.

As she didn't bother to fabricate, exaggerate, and use emotional direction for an extraordinary news, there are also much of jealous criticism toward her.

She hid the fact that she's married as her marriage at young age became a hurdle for her to be a reporter, and as her marriage life including her daughter Inha became a hurdle to her life as reporter, she chose to divorce with no hesitation.

To Cha-ok, Inha, who she met again after 10 years, is just a newbie reporter with a defect of Pinocchio Syndrome prior to being her daughter.

There's no photo of actress for Song Cha-ok character, but it is said that Jin Kyoung will play the role.

Upcoming SBS Wed-Thurs drama 'Pinocchio' unveiled chic character cuts of its leads Park Shin Hye, Lee Jong Suk, as well Kim Young Kwang, and Lee Yu Bi for its first teaser!

Lee Jong Suk plays the role of Choi Dahl Po, whose nickname is 'All Bbang' due to his poor grades in high school, but has a special talent. He also lost his parents due to an unfortunate accident when he was little, and appears as a student in what looks to be a game show in the teaser. Park Shin Hye plays the role of Choi In Ha, who has a 'Pinocchio' syndrome that makes her get the hiccups whenever she lies.

Their fellow reporters will be played by Kim Young Kwang, who plays a chaebol that decides to becomes a reporter, while Lee Yu Bi takes on the role of Yoon Yoo Rae, a former idol sasaeng fan.

'Pinocchio' centers around a group of local news reporters in their twenties who are just starting out in the field. The drama is set to air following 'My Lovely Girl' on November 12!

The producers of the upcoming SBS drama “Pinocchio” revealed pictures and brief introductions of the four main characters Tuesday.



Actor Lee Jong-suk is to play the role of “Choi Dal-po,” a news reporter on the social affairs desk who used to be a taxi driver.

In the drama, Lee loses his parents when he was young by a tragic accident and forgets his past. Lee’s role is also to have a hidden talent, making fans anticipate his new drama.



Actress Park Shin-hye will act as “Choi In-ha,” a charming young woman who suffers from “Pinocchio syndrome,” a symptom of having hiccups when lying.

In the drama, Park dreams of becoming a news reporter with integrity. Also, due to her symptoms Park will face problems in hiding her honest romantic feelings, making the drama more interesting.



Actor Kim Young-kwang and actress Lee Yu-bi are the other two lead characters. Kim is to play the role of “Seo Bum-jo,” a good-looking news reporter from a wealthy family.



On the other hand, Lee plays the role of “Yoon Yoo-rae,” a reporter who used to be an active fan of an idol group. Lee is set to show her character’s playful and outgoing personality.

The SBS drama “Pinocchio” is about young news reporters working at the social affairs desk and fighting for justice. It is scheduled to broadcast on Nov. 12 after “My Lovely Girl.”
