oh golly, the more I learn about the characters of Pinocchio, the more my interest balloon to bigger proportions... I am definitely going to tune in and even watching raws just to enjoy their facing expressions along because, reading the sub titles diverts our attention to the miniscule movements that spells a difference in how the story may lead us. It could just be a simple premise but with an amazing complexity.

Count me in to definitely watch this kdrama "Pinocchio" no matter what.

let's take the case of Choi Dal Po. So his real name is Ki Hamyoung ! but age 14, Inha's grandpapa (Gongpil) gave the name "Dal Po", who believed that Hamyoung is his deceased son who drawned at sea. goosebumps!!

So the men who lives in the tiny house is the father, grandpa Gongpil, Inha's younger brother hottie Dalpyung, and Inha (as Dalpo's niece!).

oh this is sad... "Hamyoung" had to pretend to be as Dalpo (real one is poor with studies), he
had to hide his genius abilities... that he intentionally gets zero in all his exams... that's why he was nicknamed 'All-Zero’. On top of that he hid his handsomeness by wearing shabby clothes and gum boots.(hmm.... he is still cute with that shaggy haircut). I am already feeling sorry for our male lead (LJS). at a young age, he is pretending someone else that he is not. So much pressure in his young life. But this makes it interesting story....

and of course, we read some "interests" possibly with Dalpo, Inha and Seo Bum-jo happening as some kdrama always have...no different than writer Park Hye Ryun in her dramas.

We see Dalpo and Inha interacting since they're both assigned to "Han River" although they are from competing stations.

Pinocchio Unveils Snappy and Stylish Official Lead Character Stills

SBS keeps pulling back the curtains little by little on upcoming Wed-Thurs drama Pinocchio. Compared to the teaser that dropped last weekend I’m much more pleased and relieved with the first batch of official character stills from the drama. Starring Lee Jong Seok, Park Shin Hye, Kim Young Kwang, and Lee Yoo Bi, Pinocchio follows a team of city beat network reporters and comes from the successful production team behind I Hear Your Voice. The underwhelming video teaser featured Lee Jong Seok sporting a countryside hobo hair at a game show trying to answer a question about the Pinocchio hiccuping syndrome.

Thank god that looks like a temporary high school era look since his character still shows him with a decidedly fashionable and sane male hair style. Park Shin Hye looks really slimmed down in her still, her face is uncharacteristically angular and the chic navy pinstripe suit emphasizes her new sleeker physique. Both leads are convincing as twenty-something newbies in the reporting world. Kim Young Kwang appears to have borrowed Rain’s agency president wardrobe from My Lovely Girl while short-hair Lee Yoo Bi is adorable but makes her look like a high school student playing dress up.

And the individual information about each has been translated and posted by you and others in various posts.

It seems from the chart that Lee Yubis character and Choi inha might be half sisters or adopted daughter of her mother who is also a reporter of much repute..... On a television station. Choi Dopal is adopted son of Choi in ha's grandfather so no blood relation. Uncle by adoption!

I find the setting , character description and the official poster all positive and appealing. Hence like you and others am eagerly looking forward to even watching raw as you said.....you are absolutely right. In trying to read the dialogues one does miss out on the expressions. I normally do that in my repeat watch.

Do you know if international viewers watching live is taken into account for the ratings purposes?

I still could not place the connection with Yoon Yurae... other than they are reporters with unique abilities to get news stories. Her using her experience from her past as once a sasaeng fan.

Seo Beomjo is somehow connected through the phone number that he was using (from her mother who passed on) as he was literally 'snooping' at the text messages left by Inha to her departed mother... he got 'intrigued' rather curious at InHa based on her messages. ...

Inha would not know how to deal with the one she likes... afraid her syndrome will reveal her feelings.... much more how to deal with two guys... I would like to think that our writer will have a unusual way of dealing with these relationships....


What is her father's profession? did I missed that ...
