Lee Jong Suk Goes AWOL

[by Sora Ghim] Lee Jong Suk is absent without leave (AWOL) in the next episode of SBS drama ‘Pinocchio,’ gathering interest as to why he disappeared.

In the preview for the upcoming episode 7 to air on December 3, Choi In Ha (Park Shin Hye) has a fever and Choi Dal Po (Lee Jong Suk) is seen suddenly leaving and heading somewhere.

The previous episode showed the two competing against each other in order to get the latest piece of news to deliver to their respective broadcasting companies. After picking up some news, each team goes researching to find out more about the event, showing the fierce rivalry between reporters.

Ending on this note, the preview shows In Ha practicing her report in the bathroom with a confident voice and expression but after, In Ha is seen looking sick as if she will faint at any moment. Seo Bum Jo (Kim Young Kwang) nurses her as viewers wonder what happened.

Moreover, In Ha’s mother Song Cha Wook (Jin Kyung) is seen saying “I’m saying let’s back stab YGN,” and is later seen talking on the news, “News is like an onion. This is because the more you peel each layer, a new truth comes out. We know the real truth,” raising curiosity as what happened at YGN.

In particular, Dal Po rushes to catch a taxi in the middle of the night while Hwang Gyo Dong (Lee Pil Mo) is heard asking, “Did Choi Dal Po make another accident?” Jang Hyun Kyu (Min Sung Wook) replies, “He hasn’t returned to his line.” Where did Dal Po go and what is he doing?

As the real competition starts in episode 7, the suspense rises as the story focuses more on the four main leads.
