[NEWS] JUNG YONGHWA HOLDS A MINI CONCERT TO COMFORT PARK SHINHYE




CNBLUE‘s Jung Yonghwa holds exclusive mini concert for Park Shin Hye.

In MBC drama ‘Heartstrings, Jung Yonghwa‘s character Lee Shin will hold a surprise concert to comfort girlfriend Lee Gyu Won (starring Park Shin Hye). Gyu Won is in danger because of the evil schemes Heeju and her mother are plotting against her. To protect Gyu Won and to show his love and care for her, Lee Shin decides to sing his heart out for her at a mini concert.

The surprise concert will feature a ‘Comfort Song‘ (위로송), which is the song that Lee Shin used to confess his true feelings to Gyu Won – Jason Mraz’s ‘Lucky‘ and also “You’ve Fallen For Me” by Jung Yonghwa himself.. It will convey Shin’s warm love for Gyu Won in times of difficulty. The concert will be aired in Episode 10 and 11 of the drama.

Staff of the drama says: ‘The concert is scripted to fit the progressing plotline of the story. Not only Gyu Won, but all the girls will fall for Jung Yonghwa‘s handsome performance. Please look forward to the support Lee Shin and Gyu Won show to each other in times of difficulty, and how they protect their love and dreams as part of their growth.’

"Heartstrings" to End at 15 Episodes




“Heartstrings,” MBC’s currently airing youth melodrama starring Jung Yong Hwa and Park Shin Hye is set to end on its 15th episode from an intended 16. The drama will end on its scheduled finale airing date, August 18th.

The change is brought about by the adjustments in the episode line-up and shooting following script re-writes and Park’s accident in mid-July. Production halted filming to allow the actress to recover, which resulted in the airing of a special re-edited recap episode in place of its scheduled eighth.

MBC is set to premiere “Can’t Live With Losing,” Choi Ji Woo’s return to drama on August 24th, and has thus far not announced any changes in this schedule. “Can’t Live With Losing” takes over the “Heartstrings” time slot.

“Heartstrings” airs Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9:55 PM, KST.

1. Shin says, "I chant a spell, 'You've fallen for me' ", then Shin pinches Gyuwon's cheek.
Pinching the cheek is Yonghwa's adlib, it's not in the script.

2. It wasn't guitar lesson. It was just talking scene on the grass. This scene was changed to practice room, maybe due to the rain.
And when Boun suddenly came, Shin patted his own thigh. This isn't in the script. It's Yonghwa's acting.

3. Frog cousion is not mentioned in the script. It may be director's or other staff's or actor's idea.

4. At the park, they play the ipad & smart phone as instruments.
Their conversation is longer than the script. More beautiful scenes are what is not in the script.

5. Seok Hyun really loves to mess up Gyuwon's hair.
According to the script, he was messing up her hair from before he says his line.
But at the drama, he did it only once after he said his line.

6. Gyuwon receives message from Shin, 'Come to Catharsis' at bus stop in front of school.
But it seems it was modified due to the rain as well.

7. Ending scene. In the script, Shin calls out Gyuwon to the stage by his hand motion.
But actually at the drama, Shin calls her out with just his head & eyes motion. This is my most favorite part, which was Yonghwa's adlib.
