Chapter 17: Confusion x Regret

‘agashii?” Shin Hye said while touching her heart.

“is it really a good decision?” she said and her knees is trembling so she seated and

‘then why my heart aches?” she said and unexpectedly her tears fell down on her cheeks.

On the other hand, Geun Suk went directly to his car and hit many times the steering wheel. He doesn’t know how to explain his feelings. He started his car and drive so fast while shouting without even direction. He just wants to remove his hurt feelings because of what shin Hye asked him to do.

She’s still out of her mind when her mobile phone rings, and without looking at the caller id, she answered it and
“where are you?” Hyung joon said on the other line

She clears her throat and tried not to make her voice husky and

“I have something todo with Geun young, can you go home first” she asked

“I can wait for you” Hyung Joon said

“No, you don’t have to. Just go home okay?” she said

“okay then. I love y…” he was interrupted because Shin Hye already hangs up the phone.

She doesn’t want Hyung Joon to see her like that so she lied that she has something to do with Geun Young. Shin Hye stood up, fix herself and wipe the dried tears on her cheeks and make a call

“Yah, Geun Young, can you come here” Shin Hye asked and when Geun Young said yes, she immediately hangs the phone.

Geun Young asked what happened when she saw her pale face. Shin hye told her everything.

“that’s why, I’m telling you, you like him” Geun young said

“I don’t know. What I only know is that I love Hyung Joon” Shin Hye replied

“are you sure about that?’ Geun young said

It took a while before she said yes.

“are you home already?” Hyung Joon called her that night

“yes” she answered

“okay. That’s good. I love you” he said

“okay. Bye” Shin Hye said

“wait… I said I love you” Hyung Joon informed

“ah yes, I love you too” She said then she hungs up

“and you’re telling me that you love him” geun young commented.

They’re in the living room and she listened to their conversation.

“what do you mean?” Shin hye asked

“because if..” geun young was interrupted when she got a message.

‘At last. Hongki’s asking for a date this weekend” Geun young said after reading the message.

“yah! What are you going to say?” Shin Hye asked

‘huh? Sorry I forgot” she apologized

“where are you going?” Geun Young asked

‘I have a date with Hyung Joon, I have to grab the opportunity when he’s available” Shin Hye said

“huh?”

“He’s sweet right?” Shin Hye said

‘yes, It’s sweet when someone talks to you whenever he’s available” Geun young said

“yes, you’re right.

‘But it’s sweeter when someone makes himself available just to talk to you” Geun young added

Then suddenly Geun Suk’s face popped on Shin Hye’s mind

“yah! I’m trying to forget him” She said

“can you?’ Geun Young asked

“I don’t know” she sadly answered

Shin Hye is walking to their classroom when she saw Geun Suk on the corridor; he’s happily talking to a senior year girl,

“Geun Suk” She thought. O how happy is she to see his face again after three days. Her heart longs for him.

But her smile fades when she noticed the girl “who’s that girl? Geun Suk why are you talking happily with her” she thought

Her thought was distracted when she noticed that Geun Suk and the girl are walking towards her.

She doesn’t know how to walk and how to react when they’re going to meet at the corridor.

But Her Heart aches when Geun Suk just passed her and didn’t even look at her. But she didn’t know that geun Suk looked back to see her.

She feels so weak. She doesn’t know if she can still walk to her room. She leaned on the wall and

“why does it hurts so badly? It’s not like this when Hyung Joon left me” she silently said

“what did I do?” She sadly thought to herself.

now its SH's turn to be hurt that much poor her
