Breakout solo artist Lee Honggi’s solo performances are a run away success.
For the last two days on January 9th and 10th, Lee Honggi hosted his Live 302 concert in the Blue Square Samsung Card Hall, in Hannamdong Seoul.
Lee Honggi performed tracks in the genres of EDM, traditional ballads, and of course rock music. This displayed a new artistic side, not previously seen while with FT Island.
He started off with LOL(Loudness of Love), a synth-pop song with an exciting tempo. He also performed Be Your Doll and Let’s Seize the Day from his solo album FM302. Audiences enjoyed the interesting beat.
He also performed jazz tracks he had created for drama sound tracks. He also performed For You, which he originally sung Yim Jae-beom’s 30th anniversary album, as well as Addicted To Love from MBC’s King of Mask Singer, made famous by Jang-Hyuck Cho. He sung them passionately, impressing fans.
He also performed the FT Island classics Don’t Love and Because I Don’t Know How To Love, exciting fans. He performed Do or Die, splitting the stage in half with his singing talent.
A variety of people met as fans of Lee Honggi, including a 50 year old father who came with his daughter, a Hong Kong fan who was about to get married, and a family obessed with K-Pop culture. People of all ages and countries came to enjoy the performance. Special guests Lee Jae-jin appeared during the two day concert singing Kim Kwang-seok’s I Loved You and Panic’s Bus Stop.
On the 9th, close friend and actress Park Shin-hye made an appearance on stage. And on the 10th, comedian Lee Guk-joo made a surprise appearance to the joy of fans.
The amazing spectacle, captivated audiences during the spectacular performance. Lee Honggi will be continuing his Asia tour with stops in Taipei Taiwan on the 17th, Shanghai and Guangzhou China on the 23rd and 24th, and Hong Kong on February 14th.
