Lee Hong-gi’s solo debut album is featuring other talented musicians, working on tracks multiple tracks, not only the single Insensible.

In Lee Hong-gi’s first solo album FM302’s single Insensible, was composed by Steven Lee. Steven Lee is famous for doing the composition and arrangement of In Memories, the theme song for Avengers 2. Steven Lee is also doing the composition and arrangement for this track.

Insensible co-composer Jimmy Richard, has done work for Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, and other famous musicians. These two composers are aiming to make a modern pop piece using a grand orchestra sound, and having it work in harmony with the guitar pieces, while maximizing sensitivity, in this track.

The mix engineering for Insensible was done in New Jersey, USA by Ken Lewis. Mix engineering master Ken has produced over 10 Grammy award-winning tracks for the likes of Bruno Mars, Kayne West, Ariana Grande, Eminem, and Usher. Ken rounds out the participating foreign musicians.

Lee Hong-gi has shared a music video trailer, via his official webpage on the 17th. At 3am the same day he shared the album’s track list via his various social media accounts. His first solo album FM302, comes out tomorrow, November 18th.

ILee Hong Ki Makes Solo Debut With Emotional “Insensible” MV

The album, along with the music video for the title track “Insensible,” was released on November 18 at midnight KST.

“Insensible” is an emotional ballad about a man who is unable to forget his previous lover. ( I think this previous lover is Shinhye)...Lee Hong Ki’s trademark clear yet incredibly expressive voice perfectly complements the beautiful melody, and the whole track is simply a pleasure to listen to.

The drama-like music video stars Lee Hong Ki and actress Park Shin Hye, who co-starred in the popular “You’re Beautiful” back in 2009, as the couple riding an emotional roller coaster.

My Note

LHK's solo debut showcases his strengths as a singer.....all that define him as possessing a beautiful voice with a range that is perfect for the emotional expression through a song as seen in this video.

One can understand now why he asked Shinhye to appear in the MV. She is awesome in expressing emotions without words. Her eyes, the body language etc were totally on the mark. This ability of hers makes any since impactful. Thad scenes and the happy ones were both perfect. A wonderful melodramatic mini drama.
Shinhye when will you come in a drama.....its been sooo long
We miss you even more now..

As far as the story is concerned.....my take on it is that Shinhye enacts the role of a lover who discovers LHK's infidelity when she picked up his cell phone on being curious about his total focus on it when they were out on an evening date. She sees the pictures with a girl. That triggers in her thoughts previous signs of him having an affair that she had overlooked before.....like the packed gift in the suitcase for the other girl.
I think the blood on the glass/crystal is hers when she cut herself/wrist etc in the end.

The song once eng subbed would make it clearer.

Edit: it seems from around the net that Shinhyes character was paranoid in the sense that she was not being cheated on but was in her imagination since the pictures in the phone were hers. That made LHK's character leave her.....
