Sis Pam@journoexpat,
are you following his drama?
how is it?
Hi Sis@Elana, I am sorry for the late reply, haven't been dropping by here due to work
Yes, I am watching it and I anticipate every Tuesday and Wednesday for the subs ( though the drama is shown every Monday and Tuesday). Thankfully, the subbers are so fast that you don't have to wait for several days for the english subtitles.
I really like the show, it has everything from drama, romance, action, comedy and horror. The ghosts are quite scary, kudos to the make-up artists, but the comedy scenes which are interspersed with the ghost hunting scenes, will actually lessen your anxiety and fear of watching the horror parts.
I also love that for every ghost story they actually tackle existing societal problems in South Korea such as child abuse, cyber-bullying, exploitation of women, and recently the hardships suffered by graduates who cannot find a job since South Korea has lots of college graduates but the labor market cannot absorb them due to poor employment generation.
Taec and KSH really has good chemistry and because of his boyish looks (when he wears his bangs down and not in the black suit or uniform he uses to fight ghost because during this time he will gel his hair and wear his bangs showing his forehead which I think gives him that debonair look) you cannot even tell their age gap. Taec really fits the role and I am glad that he is doing justice to the character and has proven all his detractors wrong. The role is winning him more international fans.
I wish you will get a chance to watch the drama sis Elana
