because I promised hitoritabi that I’d do a recap - so here is part of one. It’s 1 in the morning here and I need to get to sleep. More details as I remember them later -

Friends from his modeling days were in the audience, I am not a good enough Woobs fan to know exactly which rookie friends they are.

Kim Young Kwang, Hong Jong Hyun and Lee Soo Hyuk (from the Scholar who walks the night set, and in full shakespearean Vampire drag) all had birthday greetings in the friend video portion. Young Kwang sang Happy Birthday in his.

The celebrity friends that were lined up on screen were: Jo In Sung, Cha Seung Won, KYK, LSH, Lee Jong Suk, Jang Hyuk, HJH - and that’s all I remember at present. The audience was screaming for Jong Suk, but Woobin picked Jo in Sung first, and he wrote a very sweet letter to Woo Bin.

Jong Suk was picked second, and it was a perfect exercise in trolling - EXO was played, the stage set slid open and Woo Bin’s costar from The Technicians appeared - Ko Chang Seok. WHO IS ADORABLE, BY THE WAY. So cuddly and scruffy. Like an ahjussi teddy bear.

He sat on stage and conveyed a message from Jong Suk that included “I love you,” and “pyung pyung!” While this was going on, a figure came in stage left and then the heavens opened up, lights dimmed and I screamed my head off. I am of course talking about Jong Suk’s surprise appearance at Woo Bin’s birthday fanmeeting.

They played a game, with KCS and Jong Suk competing to find out who knew Woo Bin better. Loser had to drink a concoction that got progressively grosser as the round of questions went on. Woo Bin ended up drinking the punishment drink, poor baby. So did the host, and a brave audience member - Woobin handed her a powerade for her troubles.

Woo Bin’s raffle gifts to fans were all from his CF sponsors - Domino’s, Powerade, and Bottega Verde (”Hello, babyface!” Woo Bin said that out loud. And promptly cracked up.)

Jong Suk looked so rested and happy at the fanmeet, and even though I was in nosebleed seats, he looked great on the wide screen.

3. A question in FM, what’s the last digit for Woobin’s cellphone number, JS said 7! And Woobin did not say anything, Jong Suk did not seem to believe he is wrong and said, “No?” (JS is right.)

In the section of Q & A game, all the questions are about what Woobin likes, for example, summer or winter, jajangmyeon or jjambbong, but JS’ answers were all the stuff he likes, so he got them all wrong. For Jajangmyeon or jjambbong one, after he answered wrongly, he started to remember, “when we did the drama together and went to Chinese restaurant, AH (looking as if he just realised it), you ate jajangmyeon, jjambbong was mine…”

Also after he got on stage, he kept telling WB, “Cry” (울어). MC asked me to say something to WB, he said “Will you cry?” (Why you didn’t cry)
