Press Preview for Film ‘The Royal Tailor,’ Joy, Anger, Sorrow and Pleasure of 4 Tailors!

Press preview for film <The Royal Tailor> was held at Lotte Cinema in Gwangjin District, Seoul on December 10. Han Seok-kyu, Ko Soo, Park Shin-hye, Yoo Yeon-seok, Ma Dong-seok, Jo Dal-hwan and director Lee Won-seok participated.

Film <The Royal Tailor> depicts competition of tailors who made attire worn by royalty in Joseon Dynasty.

There are many hilarious scenes in the film. Director said, “I really liked the scenario. But, I was afraid that this film is too dark. This is why I put funny scenes inbetween.”

He also said, “I was really happy during shooting this film. Staff memebers were also so happy that they didn’t go home even after finished shooting.”

Ko soo appears as a genius designer of Joseon Dynasty named Lee Gong-jin.

This is Ko soo’s first historical film. He said, “I like historical film. I also had high expectation for director Lee Won-seok in terms of making this film.”

He competes with Han Seok-kyu in the film. When asked if he has been jealous of him like he was in film, he answered, “I am always jealous of actors, including actors overseas, who show great acting. I really wonder how they became that great actors.” “I will try my best to be a good actor, too.”

He also said, “I think I always have sense of inferiority in terms of acting. That’s the one I should overcome as an actor.”

Lastly, Han Seok-kyu said, “It is my first time to watch the finished movie. Film <The Royal Tailor> is also my 20th movie. I felt like I gave birth. I want to continue my acting career with such mind set.”“I also appreciate actors that I worked with in the film,” he added.

Ko Soo stated, “I was really happy during filming. But, for some reason, I felt overwhelmed during watching completed film.”

Ma Dong-seok said, “It has been already 10 years that I and director Lee Won-seok promised to work together in a film. I was so happy during shooting.” Jo Dal-hwan also said, “This film opens on the day 6 billion of people in the universe celebrate. I hope people to take warm journey during 120 minutes of running time. I will do my best to take on the role of a king next time.”

Film <The Royal Tailor> opens on December 24.

This two is really killing me. They are so comfy and close! Bummer that he admitted that he failed on dating Shinhye. I love that the promotion for Sanguiwon is going well and we are overdosing of Shinhye's pictures and videos and news.. I gave up the thought of running man guesting LJS and PSH so maybe i could hope for PSH, YYS and KS instead?
