I truly wish the producers give our talented girl, PSH a seal of approval not bcoz of her age, nor bcoz she was playful and giggly during YAB, not bcoz she does not look too grown up like other korean actress, but in front of the camera, PSH transforms and become the character and give it her all. She is an amazing talent.

Here’s the first official poster for the movie Cyrano; Dating Agency (argh at their use of the semi-colon), which stars Uhm Tae-woong as the owner of said dating agency who helps the timid Daniel Choi woo Lee Min-jung (and falls for her in the process). It’s also the first time we’ve seen Park Shin-hye pictured as part of the movie; she plays Uhm’s employee as a strategist with the agency.

The dating agency, as described, is a cut above your ordinary matchmaking service. The employees aren’t merely out to pair singles together, but go so far as to concoct schemes designed to maneuver their client into prime romantic scenarios with their intended targets. For instance: Daniel Choi is too shy to approach Lee Min-jung directly, so Uhm’s team enacts a game plan to initiate contact. (Personal note, I think this gonna be funny! Can't wait!!)

The poster suits the fluffy-fun premise of the movie, and just as long as they don’t get too broad with the schemes, I think we’ve got the setup for an entertaining comic movie.

The film doesn’t have a fixed released date yet, but is tentatively planned for a September premiere.

MK Pictures to relaunch as Myung Films
Korean production house MK Pictures is to merge its operations with Myung Films under the single corporate identity of the latter. MK was formed in 2004 from a partnership between Myung Films and Kang Je-gyu films.

MK and Myung have coordinated their film-making endeavors for several years and will now operate solely as Myung Films from August 7. Myung is one of Korea's most successful film companies since its establishment in August 1995. The merger is timed for the 15th anniversary of the company.

The company has produced many local blockbuster hits including "The Contact" (1997), "JSA - Joint Security Area" (2000) and "Forever the Moment" (2007). Myung's next release is "Cyrano Agency", an adaptation of the 19th century French literary classic, directed by Kim Hyeon-seok, slated for release before the September Chusok holidays.
