Tho i haven't see the whole episode...plus the fact i x understand the actual dialogue...Aside from the crucial part on Kang Soo where he pulled through, the other crucial part of this whole drama was HJ's need to know the truth behind her Grandma's death.
And tho we maybe be a bit disappointed that there was not much sweetness with our fav couple, in this episode, but that conversation was necessary. Before this JH never push hard on HJ to let go...he was following her rhythm, hinting here & there - abt her dad, etc. Being the older and more mature/ experience partner, he allows her to learn/ heal at her own pace. Until now, the unexpected case with the Congressman, which gave MH the upperhand and can hurt HJ badly - her career, of which her Grandma would have been happy to see her achievement ...a fellow and possibly a Prof. If we recall, JH basically refused to help her in the beginning when he tore that piece of paper.
Its a healing drama, n clearly HJ has not healed...and as long as she does not get over it and move on (until she gets MH), JH & HJ will not move forward well. It will affect their relationship.
Ok....thats my take on epi 17 (without eng sub)...haha.
But if the preview shows HJ tearing the report n she's still in her white PJs...it could be after JH left...could it mean...she acknowledge the truth in what JH said? Possibly epi 18 could be more positive in them moving forward....altho...its another 7 days wait...if its doesn't air tomorrow....
