Park Shin Hye was Surprised that ‘Bread Kiss Scene’ with Lee Jong Suk Came Out Sexy

Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye shared their thoughts on the bread kiss scene.

During the press conference for SBS’s Pinocchio, which took place on December 3, Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye shared the story behind the bread kiss scene.



Lee Jong Suk said, “I filmed it placidly at the time,” and added, “But the director wanted to film it with the feeling of romance and make it look buttery so that’s what I did.”

Park Shin Hye said, “It was the first scene we filmed in the morning. It was hard for me to film a romantic scene as soon as I woke up, but the director said, ‘Haven’t you two ever dated? I don’t see any sweetness here,’ and that’s how the scene was completed.”



She added, “I didn’t know it when I was filming the scene but when I saw it through broadcast it came out kind of sexy. It was to the point where I wondered, ‘Did we really film that scene?’ as I was watching it.”

Pinocchio starring Park Shin Hye, Kim Young Kwang and Lee Yubi is about a man who lives with a fake name and a woman who cannot lie and it airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m. (KST).
