Younha reveals “Passionate To Me” MV for “Pinocchio” OST Part 7

On December 31st, Younha released the music video for her song “Passionate To Me,” an OST for the SBS drama Pinocchio.

The video starts off with a scene between Choi In Ha (Park Shin Hye) and Choi Dal Po (Lee Jong Suk), before cutting to a medley of scenes as the song begins. The song itself starts light, matching the mood of the short clips that reveal the budding romance between the two characters.

Eventually, however, both the song and the scenes from the drama become more serious, and lead to the first kiss scene between Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong Suk. The video ends with the two leads sharing a teary kiss and parting ways as the song fades away.

Younha’s clear and smooth voice helps accentuate the emotional scenes from the music video, and convey the feeling of innocence and complexity at the same time. As the seventh OST for the drama, the song sets the tone for the current state of the story, which is both sad and frustrating, but hopeful as well.

This SBS drama has been incredibly popular among viewers, and is currently competing with MBC drama Mister Baek and KBS drama The King’s Face for the best ratings.

′Pinocchio′ to Only Air One Episode on January 1

On the first day of the new year, only one episode of Pinocchio will air, along with the movie Face Reader.

On January 1, SBS′ Pinocchio will air just episode 15, which will be followed by the movie Face Reader.

Currently on Pinocchio, viewers found out that Bumjo Department Store′s CEO, Park Rosa (Kim Hae Sook) was somehow involved in the witch hunt reporting by Cha Ok (Jin Kyung) from 13 years ago. The incident has heightened the attention of viewres.

Earlier, Pinocchio was set to air back-to-back episodes of 15 and 16 on January 1, but ended up tuning up the schedules to just episode 15 at 10PM KST. Instead of episode 16, the movie Face Reader, in which Lee Jong Suk stars in, will begin airing at 11:15 PM KST.



One SBS rep stated, "Fitting the atmosphere of the first day of the year, we decided to air Face Reader on January 1, 2015, making the previously scheduled episode 16 of Pinocchio be pushed back to the following week. However, we will be meeting the ending date as scheduled. We hope that viewers can continue give interest to the series until the end."

Ooops. Change of plans.. wonder what happened? Maybe they didnt finished filming on-time?

Do you guys know what's the ending date schedule? They said the drama will still finish on time. Are they planning to air 2 -episodes some other time? They wouldn't cut an episode right?

SBS Clarifies “Pinocchio” Will Only Air One Episode on January 1



On December 31, SBS clarified to the viewers regarding the broadcast of the drama series “Pinocchio.”

“The SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Pinocchio’ will only air its 15th episode on January 1. After this, the film ‘The Face Reader’ (which stars “Pinocchio” lead actor Lee Jong Suk) will be shown,” said a representative from SBS Drama.

It was earlier announced that the drama series will air its 15th and 16th episodes back to back on Thursday, January 1 as it will not air on Wednesday to give way to the 2014 SBS Drama Awards.

“On January 1, 2015, we’ll air the film ‘The Face Reader’ which will be a good movie to watch on the first day of the year. The 16th episode of ‘Pinocchio’ will air next week instead. We hope you maintain your interest in the remaining episodes of the drama,” said the representative.

“Pinocchio” stars Lee Jong Suk, Park Shin Hye, Lee Yoo Bi, and Kim Young Kwang. It is a drama that tells the story of reporters in the fast-turning and often cruel journalism industry, is planned to air for 20 episodes. It has recently reclaimed the number one spot in its time slot, beating “The King’s Face” and “Mr. Baek.”
