[3] Jongsuk came out to smoke three times. Once before filming, once between takes and once after filming. For the uninitiated fans, you must know that he is indeed a smoker. The first time he did it on the steps in front of the station, in full view of us. I’ve always heard it being decribed as cute, but until you actually see it, you don;t really know how to imagine a ‘cute’ smoking. He really does look cute doing it — like, he would inhale and then blow the smoke up into the air with pouty lips? LIKE I HATE TO GLAMORIZE SMOKING but I will just say it doesn’t detract from him. Like, I could watch him do it. Not sexily like in photoshoots, but normally, chatting with staff and the PD, all smiley like a kid.

The last time before he left, it was in the area marked by [3] behind the phone box. It was so funny because there were three staff members with him. One holding his coat, one holding a heater towards him and one just by his side. So he was huddled on all three sides by the staff. Since we were standing by the police car again at this point (we were debating whether to leave), he was very close to us. He looked at us a few times, and I remember just looking back at him.


[4] The point near the tree marked by 4 is where we stood. The staff members moved us out of the way when they had to shoot in that direction. When Yubi and Jongsuk stood on the steps, they would chat with each other playfully. When Yubi would talk to him, Jongsuk would bend down a lot to listen to her, it’s quite cute.

Once, just before a cut, Yubi turned to Jongsuk and said, “그거 할래?” (You’re gonna do that thing? — probably referring to some acting they discussed earlier) and Jongsuk cutely replied “안할 걸~” (Probs not~ — in this playful accent/tone.) This kid is really full of aegyo towards everyone!

I want to say a little bit about Yubi — she adorably came out to comfort the baby when it was crying loudly, and when she left the filming site, she passed by us slowly and watched us a bit. At that point, we were all so tired that we couldn’t do much but nod at her, but I think she was curious as to why we were there. She really is so small and fair in real life! A tiny little thing. When she left, she said loudly, “We’re off to lunch! Jja jja jja~” Adorbs.

[5] Lee Joo-seung also passed by us very slowly in the end, but I (embarrassingly) forgot his name so had no courage to say hi to him. Now I feel really bad…

[6] This picture is used to illustrate the position of the sofa in relation to the door, which is why we could see the three of them sitting there through the glass door. There were often looking at something on Jongsuk’s phone, which is why Shinhye would be leaning her head on Jongsuk’s shoulder. Mostly they were chatting happily or reading script.

There was also several wooden boards for Shinhye to step on so that she can be a more similar height as Jongsuk as demonstrated in the first pic. It is so funny to see them try different thickness of boards for height… So many random stuff we saw — Jongsuk dancing his lanky butt dance, Jongsuk waving his head from side to side as he sat between the two girls who were chatting… Oh, we did see Jongsuk hug Shinhye, though at that point I thought it was for a scene in the drama, but I guess not. Though I’m not speculating anything, because damn, that boy be huggy.

So, a bit about the end. After we gave our gifts to the cordi-noona, and after he came out a second time to greet a staff member who had come to meet him, the car door closed. We thought it was over but then it opened again and he waved at us! Just thinking of that moment and that smile he gave us makes me happy… I tried to consolidate that moment in my mind and ended up drawing this doodle. On Paint.


That’s how he looked like, and on the floor of his car it was all piled with snacks. This kid is truly a kid in that way. If you ask me what I think after seeing him in his own element, I would say he is at once more serious and more playful when he is acting. More serious than ever during the scenes, loose and playful with his costars. He is an actor who lives for acting.

SBS Drama Awards Festival, Attendance and Acting Performance Battle between 'Pinocchio' and 'You Who Came From the Stars'

The summary of the article is that all the actors and actresses from Pinocchio and You Who Came From the Stars will probably attend due to their popularity and everyone has high expectations that both dramas would get a lot of awards. However, other dramas wasn't that popular so they won't get that much awards so not that much or NONE of the actors and actresses will attend as in the case of Jo In Sung and his partner in It's Okay That's Love.

Younha, Will Sing OST Part 7 of 'Pinocchio'

On the coming 31st, SBS Drama Special OST Part 7 "With Passion Will You Make Me..." will be released with Younha's lyrical voice.

The OST will be in a medium tempo with the ballad genre. The OST will be about how Dalpo (portrayed by Lee Jong Suk) and Inha (portrayed by Park Shin Hye) is slowly revealing their feelings to each other because they cannot stop hiding their true feelings any longer.

This will be the last OST in the Pinocchio Drama Music Album.

This OST sung by Younha will be released on the 31st along with a music video featuring the appearance of the Darling Couple (Dalpo-Inha).

I think the OST's title is actually "With Passion You Make Me...", but I am probably wrong. Sorry in advance if this is the wrong translation of the OST title.

"Pinocchio" Is The Clear Winner In The Kdramastars Poll

The clear winner in the 2014 Kdramastars poll is "Pinocchio," which won in all three categories. The drama came out ahead early on and stayed in the lead, as did its star Park Shin Hye in the best actress category. For a while it looked as if Jung Yong Hwa, star of "The Three Musketeers" might win the Best Actor category but "Pinocchio" star Lee Jong Suk achieved and held on to first place.

"Pinocchio" won first place with an unbeatable 57.8 percent of the vote, while "You Who Came From The Stars" earned only 11.42 percent. "Night Watchman," starring Jung Il Woo, came in third at 6.33 percent. Fourth place went to "It's Okay It's Love," starring Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin. The psychological drama earned 5.83 percent of the vote. Close behind in fifth place was "Triangle," which starred Lee Bum Soo, JYJ's Kim Jaejoong and ZE:A's Im Si Wan. That drama earned 5.32 percent of the vote.

The other dramas in the top ten were "Doctor Stranger," "Emergency Couple," "The Liar Game," "Empress Ki" and "Fated To Love You."

Lee Jong Suk narrowly took first place in the Best Actor category with 40.94 percent of the vote. Jung Yong Hwa was close behind at 39.12 percent. After that it was Kim Soo Hyun with 6.87 for his role in "You Who Came From The Stars" and Kim Jaejoong at 5.66 percent for his role in "Triangle." Jo In Sung came in fifth with 1.94 percent.
Rounding out the top ten best actors were Choi Jin Hyuk, Jung Il Woo, Jang Hyuk, Lee Jun Ki and Seo In Guk.

The top two contenders for the Best Actress award were not even close. Although Kim So Eun, star of "The Liar Game" and "We Got Married," accomplished the impressive feat of reaching second place over Jun Ji Hyun, she could not compete with Park Shin Hye's score. Park earned 62.26 percent of the vote, winning Best Actress. Jun Ji Hyun was in third place with 6.78 percent of the vote, followed by Song Ji Hyo. Song won 4.7 percent of the vote for her role as the divorcee doctor in "Emergency Couple." Close behind was "It's Okay It's Love" star Gong Hyo Jin, who edged into the top five with 4.17 percent.

Rounding out the top ten category for best actress are Gu Hye Sun, Ha Ji Won, Kang So Ra, Jang Nara and Choi Ji Woo.

Park Shin-hye struggles for justice in ‘Pinocchio’



Actress Park Shin-hye was spotted striving for justice in still cuts from SBS’ drama “Pinocchio” on Tuesday.

In the photos, Park is placing a heat pack on her face to fight against the cold weather and running around without wearing her sneakers properly. Blood stains around her heels show how much she has walked during her struggle against unprofessional media outlets.

Pictures of actor Lee Jong-suk looking worriedly at Park were also released.

The upcoming episode will portray the Park, Lee and other rookie reporters’ strenuous efforts to prove the innocence of police officer Ahn Chan-soo, who is on the brink of being victimized by unprofessional news coverage.

The drama airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m.
