Lee Jong Suk confirms ‘Pinocchio’

Lee Jong Suk has finally confirmed to star in upcoming SBS drama Pinocchio that reunites him with I Hear Your Voice PD-writer team and he will star opposite Park Shin Hye. He received so much popularity and love through the show and although he was rising in his career already with hit School 2013, IHYV cemented a top spot for him.

The show is about young 20-something reporters of a news broadcast station. Obviously Lee Jong Suk is playing a social affairs reporter who has a sharp memory but a shabby appearance. Park Shin Hye stars as a girl who starts having hicupps whenever she lies.

I think the drama has lots of potential of being a very exciting cocktail of ideals and fun, as the writer has shown in her previous works which also include Dream High. So we can expect an upbeat and uplifting tale from her again.

I’m glad that Lee Jong Suk has signed his next show (because yay for more of his adorableness) but it is so soon after his last Doctor Stranger wrapped up. In fact in 2013 as well, he did two dramas (which I already mentioned above). Well, strike while the iron is

I like the idea of Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye getting paired up as both are talented and one of the hottest stars but I’m not “on cloud nine” kind of excited this time. But my main source of anticipation is surely the behind-the-cameras team.

On the other hand, the second leads Kim Young Kwang and Lee Yoo Bi have also given a nod to star. He will play a chaebol heir as well as a reporter while she plays an ex-saesang fan-turned-reporter. Lee Pil Mo, the handsome doctor from Emergency Couple has also joined the cast. So basically Kim Young Kwang will jump on his next show right next to his current Plus Nine Boys. Wow. No rest, only work!

My note: Eve and Elena! You are not the only ones liking Shinhye with all her costars......there is a reason why she is called queen of chemistry and why there are so many shippers with them.
It seems that since I keep seeing the name 'Choi Choi Couple' being banded around the net ......that we will be calling them this in the future too.....not bad at all I feel.....what so you think?
