Kim Woo Bin Confirmed in Role for ′The Heirs′



Kim Woo Bin has been confirmed for a role in the much-anticipated SBS′ The One Trying to Wear the Crown, Withstand the Weight - The Heirs.

The actor′s agency Sidus HQ announced on July 16 that "Kim Woo Bin has confirmed he will appear in SBS′ upcoming drama The Heirs."
The Heirs will be a trendy drama about the love lives of rich high school students. Screenwriter Kim Eun Sook of Lovers in Paris, On Air, Secret Garden and A Gentleman′s Dignity will head the story, making it the second time Kim Woo Bin will be acting in a role written by the screenwriter since A Gentleman′s Dignity.

Kim Woo Bin will appear as Choi Young Do, the heir to a luxury resort. He is a smart student, with an IQ of 150, and always puts down his schoolmates. He uses his wit to harass his friends rather than to excel in his studies.

He will engage in a love triangle with Lee Min Ho over Park Shin Hye, flaunting his charms as a bad guy.

CNBLUE's Minhyuk confirmed for 'Heirs'

CNBLUE's Minhyuk has been confirmed for the upcoming SBS drama 'Heirs'!

Although Yonghwa declined his casting offer for 'Heirs', fans can now expect to see another member of CNBLUE in the star-studded drama. FNC Entertainment confirmed, "Minhyuk has been confirmed to star to 'Heirs'. Following his role in KBS 2TV's 'You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly' last year, [Minhyuk] was considering productions and recently received a love call from writer Kim Eun Sook and decided to accept the casting offer."

'Heirs' reps commented, "Writer Kim Eun Sook was looking for an actor who fits the kind, happy-go-lucky character of Yoon Chan Young and eventually decided to cast Minhyuk." They also noted that the character Minhyuk has been cast for is not the same character Yonghwa was in talks for previously.

Minhyuk will join Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Sung Ryung, f(x)'s Krystal, Choi Jin Hyuk, Kim Woo Bin, ZE:A's Hyungsik, Kim Ji Won, Lim Joo Eun, and Kang Ha Neul, who have all already been confirmed or are in the final stages of completing their casting offer for 'Heirs', which will air later this year!

ZE:A member Park Hyung Sik has been confirmed for the upcoming SBS drama “The Heirs.”

On July 12, ZE:A’s agency, Star Empire, stated, “Park Hyung Sik has been confirmed for the SBS drama ‘The Heirs.’ We are expecting that Park Hyung Sik will join the U.S. location setting for ‘The Heirs’ in September. He will participate in this drama along with MBC’s ‘Real Man.’ We expect that he will become very busy.” Park Hyung Sik is currently appearing in the MBC military-themed variety show, “Real Man.”

Park Hyung Sik will play the role of Jo Myung Soo who is from a rich family but doesn’t care about money or prestige.

Park Hyung Sik joins Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin, Choi Jin Hyuk, and f(x)‘s Krystal in the Kim Eun Sook penned drama. “The Heirs” is set to air on October 9 of this year.

Rising actor Kang Ha Neul, who is currently starring in Mnet’s “Monstar,” has been confirmed to join the upcoming SBS drama “The Heirs.” He is one of two confirmations announced today; ZE:A’s Park Hyung Sik will also appear in the drama.

Kang Ha Neul’s agency, Sem Company, announced, “Kang Ha Neul has confirmed to be in ‘The Heirs.’ We are in the process of negotiation the details.”

Kang Ha Neul will play the role Lee Hyo Shin, the student president who has both the brains and looks. Lee Hyo Shin comes from a prestigious family; his grandfather was a high-ranking former governmental Minister, his uncle is the President’s chief secretary, and his father is the Public Prosecutor General.

“The Heirs” will center on the love and friendship of high school students in the top tier of society.

The casting for the upcoming SBS drama “The Heirs” has been linked to CNBlue many times already, with member Jung Yong Hwa being confirmed for the drama, then withdrawing, and then member Lee Jong Hyun also reportedly joining the drama, which turned out to be completely untrue.

Now it is being reported that a third CNBlue member is joining “The Heirs,” but this time it looks like it is a sure thing with his agency, FNC Entertainment, stating to several news outlets that “Kang Min Hyuk has been cast in Kim Eun Sook’s new drama, ‘The One Trying to Wear the Crown, Bear the Weight- The Heirs.’”

The role Kang Min Hyuk will play is not the role that Jung Yong Hwa was to take on; he is taking on a different role that fits his image. He will play the role of Yoon Chan Young, who is a happy and good-natured guy.

I'm just really happy that Shinhye is so connected to CN Blue boys also she seems to be close with Minhyuk so I'm sure they will have a lot of fun Maybe Yonghwa will visit the set a small Heartstrings reunion <3<3<3

I think this is the only KSeries we're going to watch filled with Handsome flowerboys and girls to the MAX!!!!!

i really really do hope that the script is going to be as beautiful or even more so than the stars themselves...

I can't wait..this is a much anticipated series indeed!
