My Note: the remarkable fact to note is the presence of Flower boy next door in the top 10 when it's been a year now. There have been lot of popular dramas last year but says a lot when Heirs still tops the list even nearly 4 months after it has ended.

Park Shin Hye Says ‘The Heirs’ was Popular Thanks to the Male Actors



With Park Shin Hye’s Weibo followers going over 5 million, the actress’s popularity in China is continuing to be on the rise.

February 12’s broadcast of SBS’s One Night of TV Entertainment featured Park Shin Hye, who became one of the hottest hallyu stars.

About the fact that the number of her Weibo followers (5.5 million) is higher than that of China’s actress Fan BingBing′s (4.3 million), Park Shin Hye said, “I’m honored.”

“I attended an award ceremony in China with Kim Woo Bin last year, and I was surprised to see so many fans greeting us at the airport,” said the actress.

Valentine's Day special: A look into drama couples

The Greasiest Couple

Eun Sang and Kim Tan's fated meeting and subsequent adventure in California seals the deal. The drama keeps repeating that the days they spent together in Cali are almost like a faraway dream because they were so fantastical and perfect. This is how their romance comes to blossom into a passionate story of youth as Kim Tan throws greasy comments one after another at Eun Sang who can't make up her mind about accepting him even though she so wants to. This first meeting and adventure are really the catharses of this relationship, but it is helped by some super greasy lines that would make some girls shudder and others squeal in delight (obviously, they work on Eun Sang).


Notable greasy phrases include, "Do I like you?" and, "Like me from now on, sincerely if possible." With killer lines like these, Young Do had no chance, even with his angsty, charismatic gaze and attractive bad boy tendencies, which is why Eun Sang and Kim Tan win the greasiest couple award for their sweet and dreamy romance in 'Heirs.'

EXO's Luhan, Suho, and Tao take on a scene from 'Heirs' for 'EXO's Showtime'

On the last episode of of 'EXO's Showtime,' EXO showed their acting skills by taking on a short scene from drama 'Heirs.'
The scene they did was when Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) asked Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) if he liked her. At first, Luhan played Kim Tan while Suho played Eun Sang, but that did not work out as both burst into laughter and Luhan jokingly claimed Suho was too ugly, so the boys switched it up. Tao stepped in for Suho to play Eun Sang.

This time, it was a success! After Luhan delivered his line perfectly and charismatically, he grabbed Tao for a sudden hug, which made the other members squeal and jump up in excitement. Check out the short clip above!
