This is a quick translation of 'DVD production/publisher response from 4th meet-up' in the Heirs DVD cafe notice(cafe.daum.net/theheirs).

Followings are response from DVD production & publisher 4th meet-up.


1. Interview
Adjusted to :

Lee Minho 23min/Park Shinhye 23min/ Tan&Eun couple interview 15min/ Kim Woobin 17min / Choi Jinhyuk 14min / Director 34min

2. Making films
- Making films from EP 9~20 will be included, focused on Tan&Eunsang scences. (But details not confirmed yet)
- Deleted following making films in EP 1-8: Joonyoung/Hyunjoo & Hyoshin's mom/Hyoshin & Hyunjoo/ Joonyoung interview
- Running time for Making films from EP 9~20 would be 40+min
- NG cuts will be edited focused on main roles (50%+)

3. Fan-made music videos
- 4 of Official OST music videos will be included in DVD
- 11 of Fan-made music videos will be made as VCD separately

4. Director's re-edit
It's transparentors right to re-edit or not, so for further discussion on this topic, newly-formed DVD Team needs to contact the transparentor(no contact info know yet)


If re-spec/re-edit will be done, DVD release will be postponed to Mar.


*** Current DVD Team resigned as of Jan 26th, after unsuccessful negotiation for DVD spec. And new Team is yet to be formed.

Newly formed DVD Team should discuss with DVD production/publisher companies for final spec.

If you want to cancel the order for the Heirs' DVD, you should cancel the order by 31th January.
We say again, if you want to cancel the order for DVD, you must cancel it on 31th, January, at least.

Hmmm...how reliable is that site? As far as I know, Kim Hee Sun is starring in an upcoming drama? How can she be acting in this series? And honestly, why would they offer Korean stars the supporting roles when the series is a Korean adaptation? And really, Kim Hee Sun is not that old that she should be playing a mom. I think she looks gorgeous for her age. I can hardly believe this news.

it's a possibility since the setting is for high school students...she's 36 in real life and since she's the 'other' lady, i'm thinking she was about 20 when the Jeguk Chaiman made her into his second wife to bear his second son....

so if the cast is around 16, the age is about right....Right???

@ sis almontel: I think Hee Sun will be starring in a new drama called Good Old Days at the end of February.

So the Chinese are NOT adapting Heirs?

I'm quite curious too, I often check dramabeans and koalas for drama news and recaps, and
I thought the Chinese version has been confirmed and official, maybe they didn't agree on the price lol.

I hope Shin Hye would play Nodame for the Korean version.
