"He's Beautiful" may be considered for seqeul

The famed Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran sisters, writers of popular series "He's Beautiful," may write a sequel to the show.

The sisters made the remark at a press conference held at TBS's headquarters in Tokyo of Japan on July 1 when asked if they have plans to write a sequel to the drama.

"It'll be hard to write it right away since we're working on a lot of other projects but we'll consider it seriously if the Japanese version of 'He's Beautiful' becomes a success," they said.

"He's Beautiful" which aired in Korea in 2009, became a smash hit overseas and in Japan in particular where it was aired three times up until April of this year.

Then TBS decided to create a Japanese remake of it set for premiere on July 15 with Japanese actress and former singer Miori Takimoto, boy band Kis-My-Ft2’s Tamamori Yuta and Fujigaya Taisuke, and boy band Hey!Say!JUMP’s Yaotome Hikaru taking on the roles played by Korean actress Park Shin-hye, singer-actors Jang Keun-suk, Jung Yong-hwa and Lee Hong-gi, respectively.

The Hong sisters also said they are looking forward to what the Japanese version of rock band A.N.JELL will be like, particularly their live performance and the scene where Tae-kyung (played by Jang) performs a surgery on a pig doll.

The Hong sisters are responsible for the success of many other Korean dramas as well including "My Girl," "Couple or Trouble," "My Girlfriend is Gumiho" and most recently, "The Greatest Love."

Hong Sisters of "You're Beautiful" considering a sequel





The famous and well- known Hong Sisters (Hong
Jungeun, Hong Miran) are considering writing a
sequel for the hit 2009 drama "You 're
Beautiful." The sisters were seen at the TBS
headquarters in Tokyo on July 1st for a press
conference.

Reporters asked them if they would consider
making a sequel for the hit drama, to which
they responded, "It' ll be hard to write right

At the press conference , the Hong Sisters also
expressed that they are looking forward to the
Japanese "You 're Beautiful, " as well as the live

The Korean version of "You 're Beautiful" was
aired in Japan three times since April of this year
since it ended its broadcast in Korea 2009.

Japanese station TBS are creating the Japanese
remake of the popular drama set to start
broadcasting on July 15 th.

Minam/Park Shinhye) , Kis -My -Ft2 's Tamamori
Yuta (Hwang Taekhyung/Jang Geunsuk ) and

Hey!Say !JUMP' s Yaotome Hikaru (Kang Onyu/
Jeremy/Hongki ).

The Hong Sisters are well known for their hit
dramas such as "My Girl," "My Girlfriend Is A
Nine- Tailed Fox, " "Hong Gil Dong," and "The
Greatest Love."

thanks for the wonderful news!!! so we have to make sure that the Japanese remake of YB is a success!!! then it'll be closer to probably 80% chance of the Hongs to consider doing a sequel!!! yeah!!!

it'll be hard to manage to get all 4 original stars to come together and commit...since they've all become Hallyu stars!!! but i'm more than happy to even see a MOVIE sequel if they're too busy for a series as long as we can see GoMinyu and TaeKyung...

that would be AWESOME!!!
