On 18th Aug, the last episode of MBC drama, HS was screened, the Dooley Couple, Yong Hwa and Shin Hye put up a memorable performance at the Catharsis displaying their beautiful and impressive guitar and vocal talents while conveying across the feelings of true bliss and happiness to the audience. It was indeed a refreshing experience seeing the Dooley Couple sharing a sweet, happy and romantic ending in the concluding episode of HS.

Portraying the sweet, cute and innocent romance of a young couple deeply in love with the other as played out by the 'DOOLY couple' Yong Hwa and Shin Hye in Heartstrings, the audience is able to experience for themselves, the feelings of what true love and affection really mean. The couple also expressed their feelings of unwillngness and sadness having to part with this drama.

Taking on the challenge of making his first debut as the lead actor in the drama playing the role of the young and innocent Lee Shin, Yong Hwa openly expressed his feelings saying that, "I cannot believe that the drama series has finally ended. For me, being faced with many inadequacies as a young actor in the beginning, this production work paves the path for me as an actor when I gradually find myself embarking on an acting career. I am indeed gratified for the fated opportunity to have worked together with each and everyone in the filming crew. Inspite of my amateurish acting and ineptness in many ways, I'm glad to know that everyone of you has been very tolerant and supportive of me. Hence, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks, appreciation and gratitude to the audience".

On the other hand, having been involved in the unexpected accident and shouldering the responsibility of the role of the lead actress in the resumed filming of the drama series until the very end, Shin Hye has also shown much commitment and professionalism. The drama, Heartstrings has provided the opportunity for all of us to gather together. I finally finished HS with Eng subs. OMG OMG OMG! I am so sad that it's over like that! The ending of HS was really good. I am glad it was not rushed and it could be developed. All the loose ends were tied up and everyone was coupled up (except for Ki Young ) which was so cute. Bo Eun should have gotten together with Ki Young.

Really love YongShin coupling. I don't know when the next time we will see them together will be, but I hope they will keep in touch and hang out more often now that Yong Hwa has a phone.

Anyways, thanks everyone for a good 2 months! It was enjoyable spazzing over the drama and talking about it. I hope to see all the BTS of the drama and I hope especially the rest of the OST comes out. All the songs in this series was amazing. Yong Hwa is such an amazing singer. I still can't believe they didn't let him sing a track back in the YAB days!!

@mandy, yes that's also my other wish...that our YONGSHIN gets to win the BEST COUPLE award at the end of the year...but they do have some very hardcore competition from Lie To Me couple and the GREATEST love couple....aigo....i wish we can see them soon!!!

Last but not least KISSING SCENE..Shin Hye..OPEN MOUTH..YONG HWA CARESSSES SHIN HYE’S ARMS…Involuntary action...the heart was directing Yong Hwa…he was giving Shin Hye more by that caress than the kiss…HE’S IN LOVE (In reality)… Finally, all inhabitations washed away by just one powerful hugged by LS… there’s no more pretending to be shy and awkward...I LOVE THIS MAN.. and I’m going to show it..HUGGGGGG!!! OMG..I was clapping my hands..LOL


THAT WAS A DREAM COME TRUE FOR YONG HWA..I’m sure he has wanted to kiss Shin Hye from way back than!!

You hit it right on the spot. It shows. Yong Hwa did admit before that he likes PSH. During YAB, I believe JKS and PSH have an understanding but it's not that deep and she might have like YH as well. Seeing this interest in PSH, YH have probably competed for PSH's affection. Seeing YH's interest in PSH, I think JKS eventually went for the 'kill' and claimed his spot like an alpha male marking his territory.

Since PSH and JKS knew each other way back then, it's easy for PSH to fall for him and what with all the sweet moments they have together during filming and spending so many months together, PSH eventually fell for JKS's charms and PSH chose JKS instead of YH.

And as with all men in a brotherhood - i think time spent on the spent made YH and JKS friends, YH have to respect JKS and give up on pursuing PSH seeing PSH falling for JKS.

Still, I believe, YH's pining for PSH but out of respect for JKS, he just have to support GeunShin.

the awkward feeling of having to sit and talk things over, wondering what are the right words to say...


the yearning look, too bad KW was all drunk and she didn't see what her dad saw..that Shin is still hopelessly in love with her...

Just an update of what's happening after the conclusion of the drama:


Just after ep15 was aired, Shinhye's fans of DC Shinhye gall came to DC Yonghwa gall and posted that they felt sorry. Shinhye wasn't cooperative enough. Yonghwa looked difficult to act with her. And they said they don't doubt Yonghwa is a good kisser in real life.
One fan wrote, "I should have been there and forced her to open her mouth."
After a thorough study of ep15 and bts, Yonghwa's fans arrived at the conclusion, ' both parties were at fault'.
So, Yonghwa's fans and Shinhye's fans consoled each other,
"Next drama, hope your star to meet more experienced parter, so that the kissing acting is improved."

And Yonghwa's fans decided not to mention it anymore. He is blood type A, he gets hurt easily.
Yonghwa is a perfectionist. He must add new subject of 'kissing acting skill' in his regular practice time table. Guitar, compose, vocal, kiss, guitar, compose, vocal, kiss...
