Lee Jong Suk wasn't the only 'Pinocchio' star to have a fan meeting in Shanghai this past weekend!

Park Shin Hye held her own on March 27 at the Shanghai Centre Theatre with over a 1000 fans. For this year's fan meeting, which was her third annual meeting in Shanghai, Park Shin Hye donated all her income from the event to the charity 'Hungry Saver', which she represents as an honorary ambassador, and to Chinese abandoned animal center 'Tan So Won'.

The hosts of the event said, "Many Hallyu stars are having fan meetings, but there are rarely any cases of people like Park Shin Hye who donate their whole pay from these events to charity. She's a model to many people in China and gives a warmhearted feeling to people in both countries."

Park Shin Hye had received a lot of love in China from her latest drama 'Pinocchio', and many fans quoted her character Choi In Ha to her in Korean. She also sang a total of six songs live on stage and had a lot of fan service, including forehead and hand kisses, hugs, handshakes and Polaroid photos with fans.

She said, "I [work] because of the love from fans like you guys. Because of that love, I can happily take part in productions and not stumble, and your love makes everything possible. I will go to the end by trusting in you all. I'm so thankful. I love you!"

This news was also reported on top Chinese news websites, including Sina, Sohu, QQ and Youku.





My Note: the news is all over......her warm generous heart is being acknowledged and appreciate by everyone alike irrespective of being her admirer or not.........she deserves each and every note of admiration no matter how much repetitive........these acts are actually food for ones soul.......if only more would realize it.........

MC was saying how you could really tell how much she cared and loved Dal Po by looking at the way she stared at him. SH replied saying yeah, when they were filming it, she felt very touched/it was very touching. But it was actually really difficult because she had to keep on laying on the bed.

Park Shin Hye Tears Up Upon Seeing Kim Young Kwang at Her Fan Meeting

Kim Young Kwang made a surprise appearance at Park Shin Hye’s fan meeting.

Kim Young Kwang appeared at Park Shin Hye’s fan meeting in Shanghai on March 28, surprising everyone at the event.

Kim Young Kwang was already scheduled to head to Shanghai in order to promote the Korean-Chinese web drama Doctor Ian. Upon hearing about Park Shin Hye’s fan meeting, however, he partly adjusted his schedule in order to show his support for his actress friend.


His attendance was especially meaningful because the fan meeting donated all the proceeds from its ticket sales to organizations for abandoned animals and hunger relief organizations.

Park Shin Hye, who started tearing up upon seeing a video message from the cast members of SBS’ Pinocchio, expressed her shock when Kim Young Kwang actually showed up on the stage, and ended up shedding tears.

The fans at the site also started cheering loudly as they welcomed Kim Young Kwang, proving his increased popularity in the Greater China Region.

Meanwhile, Kim Young Kwang will be carrying out his promotions in the city. As much as Doctor Ian, starring 2NE1’s Sandara Park, has been gaining interest, Kim Young Kwang has also been placed in the center of the spotlight. Kim Young Kwang will be carrying out photoshoots and interviews with various media outlets as he steps closer to his Chinese fans.
