Park Shin Hye To Take On Action Role?

Actress Park Shin Hye recently wrapped her first solo fan meeting in Taiwan, proving herself to be one of Asia's top celebrities.
Local fans were set on making Park feel as welcome as possible, greeting the Korean star upon her arrival at the Dowan International Airport on September 13, according to the Korean publication Naver.
The fan meeting, which was held at the Att Show Box in Taipei the day after Park Shin Hye's arrival, was reportedly a very lively and exciting event. The 24-year-old sang the hit track "Story" from her recent drama The Heirs.
During the first section of the fan meeting, she also gave a special performance with her brother, Park Shin Won, who wrote the track "My Dear," which the siblings performed together.
The second part of the meeting consisted of Park Shin Hye answering the questions of fans, making mango juice for the audience, and interacting with fans as she explained her role of Eun Sang in The Heirs.
Park Shin Hye will be starring alongside Lee Jong Suk in the upcoming series Pinocchio, which will air in November, according to Allkpop.
Park gained popularity through her role in the romantic comedy television series You're Beautiful back in 2009 and garnered the love and attention of fans once again in 2013 with her performance in The Heirs, according to the website Want China Times.
The actress reportedly spent four months in Taiwan filming a Taiwanese drama called Hayate The Combat Cutler in 2011 as well. She also made a cameo appearance in the Taiwanese version of You're Beautiful in 2012.
During her recent press conference in Taiwan, Park Shin Hye stated that she wants to experiment something different from the dramas that she's been doing thus far, revealing that she'd like to try taking on an action role.
"I enjoy working out so I am not afraid to try it while I am young," stated Park during her interview with InStyle.
