@schum8 - yeah, its really true..i have been working as an English teacher for Ks...and i can attest that you can hardly find someone who has a heart like her... and im a little sad when almost of my student would comment that they don't like PSH that much or they just don't care about her.... i think we better adopt her here in our country..hehe..she's more loved by her international fans, i guess...

Wow...I'm sure everyone who were there and attended the event are still on 'Seventh Heaven'...it sure is unbelievable and you may want to pinch yourself since it seems like a dream coming true!!!

I may have watched, read, viewed, and sang with you all with glee and excitement...I too can share that PSH looked so happy and seemed very amazed as to how much her fans love her especially the ones who were there from the beginning...her fan clubs and their presence when they met her at the airport...

i''m sure she wasn't expecting a lot of fans to actually come and greet her as she set foot on the philippine soil. She has such a good heart, watching those clips, she's so down to earth and always have a bright smile on her face. Even though there was a language barrier, she was able to still show her great love for her fans and will speak her mind when it matters.

I love how she adamantly said 'NO' when the fans were eagerly shouting names of guys who have been associated or she was 'rumored' to be in a relationship with...ke ke ke...and all she wanted to say was that her 'Ideal Guy' is someone like her dad...some shoes to fit for sure...

I was delightfully happy to hear her tagalog rendition of "KAILAN' which i think is an original song of MYMP...she did an awesome job, and actually pronounced the words correctly....

It's a song of longing...she's asking 'WHEN" when will this guy she has a secret crush/love on don't seem to even notice her...

@kyle_glen, yeah ur right that Shin Hye was more loved by the international fans unlike in korea. I really don;t know why they didn't like her or just ignoring her. But I'm happy that lateley she slowly growing much attention to the korean fans, I hope it will continue to grow more and more in the near future. She's always welcome in the Philippines but like she said if she will live here maybe she will become darker (kekekeke)

Park Shin Hye, overwhelmed by the warm welcome from Filipino fans!

The popular Korean actress, Park Shin Hye arrived early in Manila on the 15th of March at the NAIA airport and was warmly welcomed by her Filipino fans. She was seen smiling brightly for everyone present at the airport and sporting a casual wear fitting for the warm weather in the Philippines.

On the same day, she held the press conference and received applause and excited smiles from the press/media present. The press conference was hosted by Ms. Kring Elenzano. Park Shin Hye wowed everyone by coming in wearing a white dress and showing off her radiant beauty. She said that before the plane landed, she enjoyed seeing the view of the Philippines from above through the window of the plane and finds it very beautiful. She also loved the weather as it is a contrast to the cold weather in Korea.

Through the interview part, there were many interesting questions given. Read them below!

Q: How do you chose your drama projects?
A: First of all, I take into account the scenario then the character and wonder if I can show a new image through it.

Q: What’s your favorite character that you’ve portrayed before?
A: If I had to choose then it’s portraying Go Minam from “You’re Beautiful”.

Q: Among your leading men, whom have you been close friends to?
A: While I was shooting “You’re Beautiful” I became close to all the actors on set. I got close especially to Jung Yonghwa in “Heartstrings” because it’s already been the second time since we shoot a drama together.

Q: What are the characteristics of your ideal man?
A: Personally, I like sweet guys. Like someone who respect me as I am working.

Q: Out of all the characters you portrayed, which one can you relate to the most?
A: Most of the characters I portrayed reflect myself.

Q: Do you want to take part on roles you haven’t tried yet or do you want to go back to the roles you’ve portrayed before?
A: Every roles are different. If I have to challenge a new role then I’ll want an action one.

Q: What are your top 3 beauty secrets?
A: Firstly, I really like exercising especially when I’m stressed. Second is I really like all kinds of food. The last one is just washing my face. It’s very important.

Q: Is there any advise you’d like to give to any newbie in the entertainment industry?
A: Since I’m still young myself, I don’t think I’m in any position to give any advice. But as a friend, I’d like to tell them to not lose themselves.

Q: What is your impression of your Filipino fans?
A: Actually in the airport, I almost cried. I was really really touched because a lot of fans came to see me in the airport. They are shouting my name and even in Twitter they are mentioning me but I felt sad because I couldn’t reply to them all.

Q: Your fans are asking about your relationship with your Heartstrings’s co-star Jung Yonghwa. You mentioned that you guys got close. Do you still contact or meet each other?
A: We do contact each other but since we’re both busy we really can’t meet especially since Yonghwa is busy working with music.

Q: What is your favorite perfume?
A: I can’t really say any brand but it’s between floral and sporty.

Q: What is the most common misconceptions people have of you?
A: I don’t think I have any misconceptions since I’ve always been myself.

Park Shin Hye amazed Filipino fans with her talents!

Last March 16, 2013, popular South Korean actress Park Shin Hye had her fanmeeting in Manila, Philippines at Star Theater, CCP Complex. A lot of her fans attended and had a great time. Park Shin Hye herself enjoyed seeing her Filipino fans and meeting them for the first time.

On the day of the event before her fanmeeting took place, she guested in the local noon time show, “It’s Showtime” and promoted the event. She even met Ryan Bang, a pure Korean who became a popular comedian, TV personality, TV host, actor and recording artist in the Philippines after joining the reality survival show, Pinoy Big Brother (PBB). Ryan Bang was nervous to meet her in person and felt happy to have shaken her hand. One of the host, Anne Curtis mentioned that the local network, ABS-CBN will be airing Park Shin Hye’s new drama. Although no title has been mentioned, fans are already guessing that it will be the drama, “Flower Boys Next Door”

During the fanmeeting, Park Shin Hye made the atmosphere hotter by performing a dance medley much to the delight of her fans. The medley included songs like SISTAR’s “Alone”, SNSD’s “Genie” and Hyunah’s “Bubble Pop” and a special dance number at the end. This proves that she is indeed a multi-talented artist as she also trained in singing and dancing when she was young.

The fans were very thankful as Shin Hye sang a Tagalog song titled, “Kailan”. It was a well-known song and it made the actress happy that the fans sang along with her. She sang in a soft voice and the way she clearly pronounced the lyrics amazed everyone.

On the 17th, Park Shin Hye departed from Manila and tweeted a selca (above) with her Filipino fans with words of thanks and praises.
