I was hoping she was going to act in MK but I guess it was not the right project for her. I wonder if her management advised her not to take it because of the similarities with her previous character?!


I hope they come out with a YAB 2 soon, maybe she is holding out in hopes that they will do the sequel!!!

Sorry folks. It looks like Park Shin-Hye had already refused the lead role for the one of the most anticipated drama in the fall, Mischievous Kiss. She told, “I am booked until rest of the year and main character from Mischievous Kiss is similar with my character from You’re Beautiful and therefore I have decided to refuse the offer early on. I apologize to the actress who will eventually take the main role of the drama.”

She ended her comment by saying, “I am still busy although my school is on vacation. I want to be good at both my school activities and my acting career.

Like you Little Piggie, heard stories of several female names mentioned, no confirmation received for the female lead yet. Only KHJ is confirmed for the male lead, and the production time is running short. Curious as to who will finally get the female lead. I did not post them since it's not about Shin Hye anymore. Maybe, then will post to close.

Have seen the chinese version so I was not too excited about this kdrama anymore. They should come up with newer story lines.

I am not the representative of Korean fans.

However, as I know as possible, most Korean fans don't want her to participate that drama.

There are several reasons....

The relationship with group 8 and Shin Hye seems good, but last year, the company used Shin Hye's name to promote the drama and they rejected her.

(I feel like Shinhye is just used for promotion of the drama of group 8 for several times).

If ShinHye participate the drama, that also would be some pressure for her.

And the third reason is the rating.

In Korea, the rating is really important.

At the same time that the drama of 'it started with a kiss' will be aired, there are powerful rivals.

One of them is now on air, and it's rating is really really high, about 35%...

And the other one is written by the writers of 'YAB' and Lee, Seung-Ki will participate.

So it would be really hard to get high rating.

Till now, Shin Hye didn't participated in the high-rated drama in Korea.

We wish her drama would be really popular.


The last reason is that there are many similarities between the character of 'YAB' and 'It started with a kiss'.

We want to see her new images because we believe she acts very well!!!!



I wish you understand what I mean.

We also know that international fans want to see her in that drama.

The decision is up to Shin-Hye. So if she decides to do, we are willing to support her.

Even if we don't like her to work with group 8......
