I am hoping they finally pick Park Shin Hye, she can act really well and is perfect for this drama. And her pairing with Kim Hyun Joong will be another of my wish come true. I believe that our Shin Hye can bring depth to the relationship in the character. She would be pretty awesome in her role here. Fighting PSH !!!

Drama 'Mischievous Kiss' Male Lead SS501 Kim Hyun Joong vs CN Blue Jung Yonghwa

There is intense competition among stars to get the male lead for drama ‘Mischievous Kiss’.

Drama ‘Mischievous Kiss’, which is scheduled to be broadcasted at the 2nd half of this year, is made into drama from a Japanese comic that sold 27 million copies in Japan alone.

Young actors who are currently gaining a lot of attention such as Lee MinHo, Kim HyunJoong and Jung YongHwa, are some of the actors discussed for the male lead.

Lee MinHo has revealed his intension with “I have no plan to take part.” Kim HyunJoong has debut successfully as an actor through ‘Boys Over Flowers’, Jung YongHwa also gained a lot of popularity through drama ‘You’re beautiful’ and group CN Blue.

Production Group Eight revealed “We are currently at the final stages to finalize, we have not confirmed who would be casted for the roles yet.”

Kim HyunJoong, who has recently moved to another management company, has raised a hot topic as a potential candidate for the male lead. Park BoYoung, girl group Kara’s Han SeungYeon, Park Shin Hye, Chungmuro ShinAe Baek JinHee, have all been discussed to be playing opposite him.

Drama representative said “Recently, we are comparing between Han SeungYeon and Park ShinHye. Seems like it would be one of these two.”

‘Mischievous Kiss’ which shows the love stories among the youthful stars, will be directed by Hwang InRoi who also directed for ‘Goong’, ‘Ijimae Returns’.
It is scheduled to be broadcasted after ‘Road No. 1’.

Lee Minho’s reps has made it clear today that he will not be taking a role in an upcoming drama titled Playful Kiss. This drama made headlines just yesterday when it was revealed that Kim Hyun Joong might be in it.

Lee Minho’s company said on the 7th, “We don’t know anything about him getting cast in Playful Kiss. It’s true that we had communicated with Playful Kiss awhile ago. But that is all. He has no plans of being in it.”

Lee Minho said himself in a press conference awhile ago that he will not be appearing in the drama. I guess he has something else in mind.

We do wish that the producers, Group Eight can quickly settle on a cast because the rumors are all pretty unsettling and making fans anxious.

Aw, man. For one brief moment I got totally excited. One story published today reports that Lee Min-ho has been cast as the lead in Playful Kiss, aka the remake of Itazura na Kiss / It Started With A Kiss. And girlfriday and I literally, and I mean literally-out-loud, squealed in glee when we thought it was happening. However, his representation was quick to deny it as untrue.

According to the initial source, Lee Min-ho supposedly chose this project out of loyalty to Group Eight, the production house that cast him in Boys Before Flowers and basically jump-started his career as a leading man and hot commodity. However, according to Lee’s management, while it is true that he received the offer, he has politely declined. (Granted, the role would probably have gotten him typecast, but I say he’s young and hot and has plenty of time to branch out in the future.)

There has been a lot, and I mean A LOT of noise about Boys Before Flowers‘ Kim Hyun-joong or You’re Beautiful’s Jung Yong-hwa taking the main role, but nothing has been confirmed and casting rumors remain hazy and noncommital.

Top contenders for the female lead include Park Shin-hye (You’re Beautiful) and Kara’s Han Seung-yeon. Despite some legal problems, Park Bo-young’s name is still being tossed about by some. (Could you imagine if she were cast with Lee Min-ho? That would be almost too good to be true; I think I’d burst of excitement.)

i miss SH so much that i would really love to see her here...i'm sure you can't go wrong on this one and since i'm partial to KDramas, i know that this will even be bigger, brighter and better than ISWAK.

SH has all the time in the world to pick and choose another role when she gets done with this one, she just may need this so that she can be on that pedestal and be able to shine brighter!

and i would love to see her paired up with KHJ!!! i'm sure they'd need someone as good as her to be the lead in acting since she has the experience to do so, so it's ok to get another idol to be her male lead like KHJ

although, i wouldn't mind seeing her play the lead with our dear GS again...ke ke ke..

Im so excited after reading this news i hoped & i pray that PSH will be the one can get this project. KHJ is already been worked with her in CF so definitely their team up will be good as JGS. Lets pray that our princess will be part of this project. Aja Aja fighting.
