Star K-Drama And K-Pop Collaboration: Park Shin Hye And Super Junior Will Star In Short Promotional Film
Presently in South Korea, Park Shin Hye seems to be the most important commodity K-drama has to offer. Due to all her roles on famous K-dramas, like The Heirs and Pinocchio, as well as television appearances, Park is apparently on everyone’s minds as they want to know the latest on her personal life. Apparently, anyone who wants to become Park’s husband will need to pass the “daddy test.” And if they cannot, they at least have to closely resemble her celebrity crush, Gong Yoo.
Personal life aside, it now seems that Park Shin Hye’s next project has been made known, and it will include popular K-pop group Super Junior. Reports now claim they are working together on a short promotional film.
According to KpopStarz, Park Shin Hye will star in a short promotional film and will be joined by Super Junior group members Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, and Donghae. The title of the film is Start Traveling and will promote tourism to Jejudo Island. It is being produced by Lotte Duty Free, the operator of South Korea’s largest duty-free store chain.
The reason for Lotte Duty Free creating the film is to promote the beauty of Jejudo Island to global viewers. They will feature its famous tourist destinations including its coast road and Baozen Street. It should also be noted that Lotte Duty Free promoting Korean locales is not a new practice. According to the Korea Herald, Lotte Duty Free has been making music videos starring K-pop stars to promote Korean culture since 2009.
Lotte Duty Free’s short promotional film on Jejudo Island will be released sometime in late June 2015. It will be available for viewing on YouTube, Facebook, and China’s video sharing site Youku as the company opens one of their stores in the island. Until then, enjoy last year’s promotional video attached below. In it, Jang Keun Suk and Park Shin Hye visit tourist destinations in Seoul, Busan, and Jejudo Island.
