Park Shin Hye Gets Numerous Love Calls from Chinese Dramas

With her overseas promotional activities about to begin, Park Shin Hye has been flooded with love calls from China.

Park Shin Hye will be launching a tour titled 2014 Park Shin Hye World Tour: Story of Angel in the middle of May, meeting with the fans in Thailand, China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines and more.

Upon hearing her upcoming schedules, Chinese broadcasting stations and agencies have been sending love calls to cast the actress in Chinese dramas and other activities in the country.





An affiliate of a Chinese agency said, “Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye from The Heirs are incredibly popular and famous as an actor and actress, not just as drama characters. People usually remember Korean stars as their drama character names, but Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye have gathered an incredible amount of popularity through their fan meeting tours in Chinese speaking countries. Chinese broadcasting companies are competing fiercely in order to get the two stars on their programs.”

Park Shin Hye rose to hallyu star status after starring in drama You’re Beautiful with Jang Keun Suk, previously holding fan meeting tours around Chinese speaking regions.

Being one of the hallyu stars receiving numerous love calls, Park Shin Hye will be carrying out her fan meetings this year in Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Shenzhen and Changsha.

An affiliate of Park Shin Hye’s agency said, “It’s true that Chinese agencies have been sending in casting offers but we feel bad for having to turn them down due to scheduling conflicts. It will be hard for her to act in a Chinese project right away as she is scheduled to star in movie Royal Tailor and is considering other projects for the later half of this year. But we are considering a broad range of activities for the long term so fans can expect to see more diverse activities from Park Shin Hye next year.”

Thanks sis @maris for the post... I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Park Shin Hye will accept another kdrama after filming her movie. We would love to see Shin-hye in Chinese commercials, lots of them.

I am eager to see her pairing up with another attractive actor in a new Kdrama too. It seems like she will do another Kdrama at the end of the year from her agency.

Not sure if this show is still on in Korea, but I've always thought it would be cool if Shinhye was on "Dancing with the Stars Korea." She's always expressed her love for dance and how she wish she could do it more often. If she was on the show it would give her a chance to dance again, while still working and promoting herself. I think she would definitely get 10's right from the start.
