Park Shin-hye’s brother is talented musician

In the episode, which aired on Monday, the show ranked the most talented siblings of celebrities, and Park Shin-hye’s older brother and musician Shin-won ranked fifth in the list.

The good-looking composer and guitarist is a graduate of Seoul Institute of the Arts and a former guest member of boy band Scenery of Riding Bicycle.

He also composed boy group B1A4’s song “Oh My God,” released January of last year.

Shin-won jointly made performance with his sister on the stage at her fan meeting in Japan held in July last year.

Park Shin-hye cameos on King of Dramas

It’s only a guest stint, but you’ll be able to catch a glimpse of Park Shin-hye in SBS’s upcoming King of Dramas, where she’ll play the star of a drama. So… she’ll be in the drama-within-a-drama-about-dramas. Say that five times fast.

The guest spot comes thanks to PD Hong Sung-chang, who directed Park Shin-hye in 2009’s rom-com hit You’re Beautiful. (Gah, has it been that long already? Where does time go?) Park was already pretty known at the time (she was a child actress and had a number of dramas under her belt), but I’d venture to say that was the show that catapulted her to widespread fame. So mostly this is just a favor to the director, and while I’m still waiting for her to take on a new leading role, I suppose we’ll take it. As though we had a choice.

King of Dramas features a sharp, shrewd producer/CEO named Anthony Kim (Kim Myung-min), who’s always got his eagle eye on his dramas’ bottom lines and has a knack for turning them into profitable successes. Park plays the star of one of Anthony’s productions, which is titled “Elegant Revenge.” Ha. Can it be a parody of dramaland’s revenge excess, making for a cheeky inside joke? Please? Lots of histrionic displays and glaring eyes and tortured vows of revenge, with a pulse-pounding symphonic score? C’mon, if you’re making a drama about dramas, you can’t not poke fun at yourself, can you? Otherwise you’d just be full of hot air, when you could be fun and sly.

King of Dramas aired in the post-Faith timeslot on Mondays and Tuesdays, and premieres on November 5, 2012.

Who's your favorite Korean actress? Well, here are 3 representative hallyu actresses, Jun Jihyun, Park Shinhye, and Min Hyorin. Yeah, Jun Jihyun and Park Shinhye are recognized hallyu stars, while some of you might disagree with including Min Hyorin in the 3 representative hallyu actresses. But, as you know, she is Big Bang Taeyang's girl and I think many people are interested in her. Anyway, I've interviewed all of them and I'd like to talk about the 3 actresses' real personality.


Jun Jihyun is beautiful. Everyone who sees her in person says she's a goddess. She has small face and long legs. And she has an elegant atmosphere. I don't know if it was intended, but she was absolutely different from ordinary people when she talked and acted. Yeah, she talks and acts like a real celebrity. As she shows her pride and elegance when she is interviewed, some say they feel distance from her. However, it doesn't mean she is pretentious. When she is with the people she is close to, she enjoys having a joke and laughing just like her drama character, Cheon Song Yi.


Park Shinjye doesn't act like a celebrity at all. (It doesn't mean Jun Jihyun is a bad person and Park Shinhye is a good person) When she is interviewed, she readily communicate with the interviewer and tries to speak her true feelings. She's polite, lively, and easygoing. Actually, there's little difference between her character in TV dramas and h(It doesn't mean Jun Jihyun is a bad person and Park Shinhye is a good person)er real self. She is so loved by people in the entertainment business because she has not changed at all since she debuted as a child actress long time ago. When I interviewed her, she called me "Sweaty Jung" because I sweated like a pig.


Min Hyorin is a doll-faced actress. She looks cold, but her character is diametrically opposed to it. When I interviewed her, I was favorably impressed by her because she was polite and innocent. She acted amiably, and she laughed readily too. The interesting is that I got a similar impression by Taeyang when I interviewed him. They're a really good match. I think it's unfortunate that the pretty actress couldn't get enough support from her agency after she debuted.
