Park Shin Hye's Dating Rumors



Now that Park Shin Hye is busy filming "The Heirs" with co-star Lee Min Ho, netizens are already wondering if their onscreen chemistry will spark a real-life romance once the drama is done.

Park has had some attractive co-stars and her onscreen romances often prompt real-life dating rumors.

It happened during the filming of "You're Beautiful." When she was asked which character she found most attractive, she said it was Jang Geun Suk's character. "Hwang Tae Kyung is the one to fall for the more you see him," she said. That response started dating rumors that she denied.

"We are like brothers and sisters on set and even hit each other," she said. "His mother likes me but Jang Geun Suk is indifferent. He never saw me as a girl. They all treat me as a younger brother."

Jang's mom was so taken with Park that she checked their marital compatibility. "However, we are just friends and enjoy spending time together," she said.

The sweet "You're Beautiful" relationship between her and second lead CNBlue's Jung Yong Hwa led to another series, "Heartstrings." In that series their characters fell in love. It wasn't long before the rumors about a real relationship began to surface. When confronted, the actress was firm in her denial. She and Jung were not dating.

"I recently contacted Jung Yong Hwa," she told MBC "Section TV Entertainment Report" earlier this year. "We're just close friends."

Although she had not seen him since a 2012 fan meeting, the rumors would not die. Park joked that the rumors might keep circulating because people thought they looked good together. "I think so too," she said.

When Jung Yong Hwa was asked about their relationship, he also said they were only friends. In fact he called her his "only celebrity friend" or at least the only one he is actually close with.

Rumors about her dating "Flower Boy Next Door" co-star Yoon Si Yoon began when she confessed that the actor was her ideal type.

"I used to think that I wanted a funny guy, but these days I want someone who is serious," said Park. "Yoon Si Yoon is like an onion. The more layers you peel away, the more new and unexpected sides of him appear."

And yet despite his being her ideal type, the two friends did not date once their drama was over.

Lee Min Ho did have the experience of dating a co-star. He dated his "City Hunter" co-star Park Min Young for a few months after that drama ended.

Will Park Shin Hye and Lee Min Ho wind up dating? Only time will tell if this drama generates more than rumors. But at the very least, they will wind up being good friends, since that's what happened with all her other co-stars.

My Note: what I find noteworthy is the fact that Shinhye is the number 1 among the female stars that include both actresses and idols. She tops among other illustrious and popular artists such as Haji Won and Yoona. .........Way to go, Shinhye. May you shine even brighter this year.

Park Shin-hye Makes Another Splash

Actress Park Shin-hye, who became popular with the success of TV soap opera "You're Beautiful," in which she starred, is increasing her fame with the hit movie "Cyrano Agency" and animation film "Green Days," in which she voices the central character.

"You're Beautiful" is currently being aired throughout Asia. "Green Days" was invited to the 15th Pusan International Film Festival, which ended Friday. On "Cyrano Agency," Park said, "It was great fun shooting that film, but the role itself was challenging. I felt that I have a lot to learn about expressing subtlety that is required when you portray someone in love. Maybe it's that I'm so young and need to get more experience."



Although she once hosted some TV shows, now she wants to focus on her acting career. "I don't want to play it safe, but I want to build my image up steadily one step at a time. If I have any ambition, it would be returning the love I've got from so many people," she said.

My Note: it's good to see Shinhye not taking people close to her for granted and acknowledging their contribution in her hour of success. Although, just seeing them together does show everyone clearly the closeness of their bond ......that of a close friend or family rather than that of just a manager. Manager Jun does have a very pleasant personality and seems like a very nice person. I am sure her parents must have felt at ease too with him taking care of her when she is away.

In celebration of the year of the horse 2014, online community site 'DC Inside' conducted a poll titled, "Which female star born in the year of the horse do you anticipate most in 2014?" It ran from December 31 through January 7 and calculated a total of 15,071 votes.


Go Ara came in 1st place with 52.5% (7915 votes), which is not a surprise to most fans who have witnessed her rise in popularity through the hit drama 'Reply 1994'. Park Shin Hye, who also had great past year with popular drama 'Heirs' which surpassed the 20% ratings mark, came in 2nd place with 26.3% (3964 votes). Girls' Generation's YoonA came in 3rd with 11.3% (1698 votes); this poll was conducted around the time of the surprising reveal of her dating fellow superstar Lee Seung Gi.

Park Shin Hye Explains Her Surprisingly “Voluminous” Figure in Recent Photos

Recent pictures of actress Park Shin Hye at the Miu Miu Hong Kong flagship store opening on January 8 have been drawing a lot of attention throughout the day by showing her surprisingly “voluminous” figure.

It seems Park Shin Hye caught a whiff of the fuss when she posted on her personal Twitter account the message, “Ha…haha…I am hearing that I am glamorous thanks to shadows and hair….hehe I don’t know if I should laugh or cry hehehe -_-;;;”

She posted another Twitter message, explaining that one of the photos making the rounds claiming to be from her Weibo account is actually not, saying, “That picture is not from my Weibo…There is no photo like that on my Weibo!!!”



Either way, fans have complimented this picture of Park Shin Hye, writing, “Her face is cute, and her body is good like an angel,” “She’s a real goddess,” and “She’s looking prettier everyday.”
