The interview is during Park Shin Hye event for Ferragamo, Singapore and as you know SH has been interviewed by various media and this is one of it.

Introduction: SH wish in English “Happy Birthday to E-News Asia”.

MC: You are so young,. you just celebrate your 21st Birthday, what did you do?
PSH: (She reply in Korean) I would do some community work every year…during my birthday…I went out and had a small party with my friends after doing community works.
MC: That’s so sweet…
(PSH laughing)
MC: You sing, you dance, you act, you do martial arts…who you’ll become inspired to being an icon in asia? Do you have anyone?
In particular..?
PSH: (SH thinking for a while before she said this) …I haven’t really thought about that before, but I would like to become an icon in any market.
MC: Lovely answer…lovely …..Kansamida (Marion said “Thank You” in Korean” )

MC Narrator: and despite her busy schedule, juggling school and acting career, the young actress said she had manage to find time for romance,…

SH: Many people think that I don’t have a boyfriend…I was in relationship on and off…

MC Narrator: That’s all she was saying for now!!!!

for her statement " I WAS IN AN ON AND OFF RELATIONSHIP...well, i am not shocked at all..i remember those angry tweets when she was in Taiwan, i believe that it was meant for her boyfriend, they were having a LQ..lover's quarrel...

whoever that guy is, i just hope that he will have the guts to stand up and be counted, kekeke...

i was just wondering whether the relationship is in a "stand still/cooling off" period or is it "going on"???

its normal to fall in love at her age but for me, she is still too young to be in a serious relationship
and i dont want to be among those putting pressure on her...i belive that she is entitled to some privacy especially when it comes to her love life..

anyway, whoever she chooses and whatever makes her happy, i will support her...
as a parent myself, i hope that at the right time, she will find the right guy who will love her so dearly...
he surely will be one lucky guy..

i don't know how many times i've watched and rewatched that video...

when she said a lot of people think that she doesn't have a boyfriend this is more like the present...
i'm a bit confused why the second part of the sentence is in the past when she said 'I was'...i'm thinking it may have just been lost in translation???'

anyways, i don't want to burst this Happy Bubble of mine because i love to think it's UknowWhu!!!!

An Insider's Peek into High-Fashion

You've watched, and rewatched The Devil Wears Prada, imagined yourself in the shoes of heroine Andy (played by Anne Hathaway), and hey - even bought yourself a few Pradas. What's next? Salvatore Ferragamo, one of the world's leading players in luxury goods, unveiled its Spring/ Summer 2011 collection to its discerning clientele in a fashion show at Singapore's Paragon Atrium last March 10th.


The show was held in a cordoned-off area right outside its duplex boutique at mall's entrance, where familiar faces mingled on the red carpet, as glasses of champagne and extravagant appetizers were served by smartly dressed waiters. The never-ending camera flash was a slightly overwhelming, but my own camera came in handy too - not everyone gets the chance to see and feel the apparel and accessories up close. And trust me - you will be convinced why high fashion will always come at a price.


Korean star Park Shin Hye, whose popularity soared in Asia and around the world after clinching the lead actress role in You're Beautiful, nearly stole the show as she glistened in her front-row seat. The celebrated actress was invited to grace the event because of her love for the brand; Ferragamo apparently epitomizes her free spirit with a touch of luxury and sophistication. She attended the show in a print halter mini-dress from the Collection:



Famed for its 'still made in Italy' line of luxury products, the Florence-based fashion house presented its collection with a concept hailing from - surprise! - Italy. Tulle cocooned guests in an imaginary tent where Tarzan and Jane met, amidst sounds of nature echoing from within.


Aside from Shin Hye, the front row was occupied by the brand's top guns from Singapore and abroad, our local versions of Anna Wintour and its preferred customers, all dressed to the nines.


The models (local talent included) took to the runway, and showcased the collection's bohemian sophistication: combination of materials not often seen in one's casual daily wear - leather, raffia and fabric in the brand's famous "Gancio" and "Vara" motifs.

Warm summer... hot afternoon... fragrant sea breeze... ice cold cocktail... don't you feel like going on a holiday already?
