Chapter 14: Surprise


Hong Ki is not hard to love, besides everytime she’s down, he’s always there to comfort her, so she’s feeling guilty after hearing that he’s supposed to be his fiancé’. She’s staring at the window thinking that.

“Hey, I’m here you know, you’ve been staring blankly at the window for awhile now” It’s Geun Suk

“I’m just thinking about Hong Ki”

His expression changed after hearing his name.

“I just found out that he’s supposed to be my fiancé” she added


“She’s mine” Geun Suk possessively said

“I know, but she’s supposed to be mine” he said

“What do you mean?” Geun Suk curiously asked

“She’s supposed to be my fiancé if she didn’t take the responsibility of her sister” Hong Ki revealed

“Oh really? That’s too bad for you” he coldly said then he twisted to walked when

“I Love Her” Hong Ki confessed

“I already told you, leave her alone, she’s mine” he said then he continued walking.

“Why? Are you disappointed that he didn’t became your fiancé, that I’m the one who’s here with you?” he irritatingly asked

“Of course not, I just feel guilty about it, but I’m happy that it’s you who’s with me now” she sweetly said while sitting closely to him.

Shin Hye went to Geun suk’s room. He’s now doing some school stuffs. She sits beside him.

“I’m going to Japan this weekend, do you want to go with me?” She asked

It’s Yuki’s birthday, so she have to go back to Japan to celebrate it with them. She’s too excited to ask Geun Suk to go with her, because it would be there first vacation together, but he refused saying that he’s too busy for that.

“Sweetness will kill him” Shin Hye disappointedly thought while walking out of his room.

She packed her things for a week. She already asked for an off to the school director. She’s going back with Noriko. She bid Geun Suk goodbye thinking that for the last time he might change his mind.

“Take care” Geun Suk glance at her and look to his papers again.

She pouted

“Shin Hye” Yuki and Yue came running to hug her

“woah! We really missed you” Yue said

“where’s your fiancé?” Yuki asked

“ah.. don’t make me remember him. That cold hearted guy” Shin Hye irritatingly said

They Laughed.

Yuki’s birthday will be tomorrow, so they still have time to have chat with each other. How they missed each other. Yuki and Yue asked shin Hye’s love life, and they can’t help to teased Shin Hye.

They were distracted when noriko’s phone rang.

“I’m sorry” Noriko apologized

“It’s okay. You can answer it, and you can rest now’ Shin Hye smilingly said

Noriko bowed.

“hello, young master” Noriko answered

“where’s Shin Hye? She’s not taking my calls” Geun Suk said

She’s still a little mad because of his refusal; besides she’s with her best friends. Noriko lied to Geun Suk saying that Shin Hye is with her best friends and with the guy, whom she said that it’s the first crush of shin Hye. Geun suk dropped the call after hearing it without saying goodbye.

Noriko smiled

Yuki will celebrate her birthday with Shin Hye and Yue only in their house in Tokyo.

“Happy Birthday” she greeted Yuki and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Then they heard a car that stopped in front of the house.

“hey, do you expect other visitors?” Shin Hye asked

Then Geun Suk Came in with a smile.

He greeted Yuki and went near Shin Hye.

She was Surprised

‘what are you doing here? And how did you know we’re here?” She asked

“where’s he?” Geun Suk asked

“who?”

“and Noriko?” Geun suk added

“why? Did you miss Noriko more than me?” Shin Hye pouted

“pabo! You’re getting jealous with nothing” Geun Suk said

“Stop the Lover’s quarrel, let’s celebrate” Yuki said

They celebrated until morning. And when they get tired they decided to end it and go to bed. Shin Hye’s going with Yuki and Yue when “where are you going?” Yuki asked

“with you” shin Hye said

“And how about your fiancé? You should sleep with him” Yuki smilingly said

“what are you talking about?” Shin hye asked

“Have a nice sleep” Yuki and Yue said while pushing Shin Hye and Geun Suk in to the other room.

“Goodnight to the two of you” They added

“Where’s he? Geun suk asked when they’re already alone in the room

“who?”

“That Noriko” he said realizing that it was only a trick.

Shin Hye looked at him with curiosity.

Geun Suk and shin Hye feel awkward. It’s their first time to sleep in the same room.

Shin Hye fall asleep already, while Geun Suk is still turning on the bed

“How can you sleep so soundly’ Geun Suk thought while looking at Shin Hye

“Are you not afraid that I’ll eat you” Geun suk thought

He kissed her gently making sure she’ll not wake up., and then he turned back.

He felt an arm hugging his waist, then

“I Love you” shin hye whispered

OMG the last part is so so sweet.
Reminds me of Chae kyung and Lee Shin of Goong haha.

I finished the last 10 chapters in one reading! Hahaha!

perhaps LOVE has captured my attention for a number of reasons:
1. It's fast paced.
2. I love, love, love straight to the heart one-liners - I like them so much I sometimes quote them as my FB status (ask Jossa, heehee).
3. I like romcoms in general, this in particular because of course it's about my favorite pair atm.
4. There are so many characters, ones we know (in a way) .. .and in my mind, they are acting out the story.
5. I spazz over hand-holfing and back-hugging. Haha!

particulars:
1. Love Hong Ki's character. Although I've never imagined him with SH in real life... I feel for him in your story. Saaad! But his disposition is oh-so-Jeremy!
2. Lee Min Ho's character reminded me so much of people describe Sukkie. His "sacrifice" pretty much described the awkward times between JGS and PSH.
3. UEE's character, I think is more like the her in real-life. Ahh! Such a relief, after I've hated loving her as YHY in YB!
4. Yong Hwa's role was minimal, but in a way still like Shin Woo (minus the stiffness and wanting GMN for himself part)
5. Noriko is <333 among the supporting cast.

I'm (im)patiently waiting for your next chapters. Thanks for sharing! I told there are so many FF readers here. Sigh. Wish I could write my own someday.
