Chapter 10: Missing You


They’re now outside the house. Shin hye wants to bid goodbye to Uee, but she decided not to, because her pain will only increase if she will see them again. She’s going to stepped in the car when someone’s grabbed her hand.

“Geun Suk” she was surprised

“where do you think you’re going?” Geun Suk asked while holding her arm tightly

“I’m going home” she answered

“with him?” he asked

“yah! You’re hurting me” Shin Hye complained

Hong ki came closer and hold her hand

“what are you doing? Let her go” Geun suk said to Hong ki while looking at him devilishly

“No Geun suk! Let me go” Shin hye said

Geun suk let her go. It’s like his heart was being crushed when she heard her saying that. He just sadly looked at them leaving.

Shin Hye’s tears kept on flowing. She didn’t want to say that, it’s just that he caused so much pain to her.

Hongki glance at her every now and then, then he hold her hand

“It’s okay” he comforted

“can you take me some where?” Shin Hye requested

" Anywhere, I just don’t want to go home yet" she added

Hongki take her to the river side. The place is so silent, the people rarely passed by.

“This is my secret place” Hong ki said

“Everytime I’m feeling sad, I’m going here” he added

“I’m sorry, now it’s not a secret anymore” Shin Hye apologized

Hongki just smiled

“you’re the reason, I made this as my secret place” he sadly thought

“no one will hear you here, you can do anything you want, you can scream or you can…”

He was interrupted when Shin Hye suddenly hugged her.

“Thank you! Really thank you. I’m so happy that you’re always here for me. Thank you so much” She said while crying

Hong ki hugged her back.

BANG

Geun suk hardly punched the wall. He went back home after seeing Shin Hye and Hong ki left. His hand’s full of blood. He was so angry. He expects that when he got home, Shin hye’s already there, but he’s already waiting for two hours, but Shin hye is still not home.

“Thanks for your time” Shin hye said to hong ki before stepping out of his car.

“anytime” Hong ki smiled

“good night, or should I say good morning?” Hong ki kidded

Shin Hye smiled and “take care” she said

“I’m leaving” Hong ki said

“it hurts me leaving you when I’m supposed to be by your side” hong ki thought while starting the car and finally bid Shin Hye goodbye.

She’s waving until hongki’s car cannot be seen anymore.

She’s going inside her room when

“Do you really have to choose him over me to drive you home?, when in fact we’re living in the same house?” Geun Suk said while leaning on the wall across her room and his hands were folded on his chest.

She didn’t replied

“I’m your fiancé, you know” he reminded

“really? Sorry I forgot” she boringly said then she entered her room

“ What do you mean you forgot? Yah! Do you like him?” Geun Suk said though Shin Hye is already in her room

Shin hye leaned on her door and “You’re so numb Geun Suk, so numb” she sadly whispered

“Where’s Shin hye?” Geun Suk asked Noriko

“She already went to school, young master”

It’s been already a week since the party, and since then Shin Hye never talked to Geun Suk. She goes to school early than him, she didn’t stay home, and she usually hangs out with Geu Rin and sometimes with Hong ki.

Why?

Because she loves him, yes, she already admitted to herself that she love him since the time she cried a lot to Hong Ki. She doesn’t want to face him, or else she will fall more deeply in love with him.

“Damn! She’s not greeting me anymore” Geun Suk complained

How he misses her greetings every morning. How she talked to him, how she tailing him everywhere in their house, and most of all he misses her beautiful smile, the smile that melted his heart, that every time he sees her smiling he can’t help himself to smile too, or should say secretly smile too.

She sighed while looking at the window of the car. She misses him so much, she wants to see him, talk to him and be with him.

“Stop it Shin Hye! He’s already in love with someone else, with Uee-unni” she scolded herself then she sighed again.

“Good morning” Hong ki greeted
