Chapter 9: Heart aches

She can't go looking at them that long so she decided to go home when
"you're leaving already?"

"hong ki" she said

"what are you doing here?" she asked

"Uee is my family's friend"

"have you seen Shin Hye?" Geun Suk asked to his friends.
He's been looking for her for a while.

"I've seen her outside, talking to Lee Hong Ki" Yong Hwa answered

after hearing his name, Geun Suk quickly went outside.

"What's wrong? you look pale" Hong ki Asked her

She didn't answer, tears just fell down on her cheeks

Hong Ki gently hugged her "Its okay" he comforted

She painfully cried on his chest

"If you just waited, I promise not to make you cry" Hong Ki sadly thought to himself

Geun Suk saw them and went back to the party.

"what's wrong? Are you sick?" Uee asked

"No, I saw him with her again. I feel worst" Geun Suk said

"why don't you just tell her your feelings, so you won't feel worst" she advised

"and stop acting cold to her" she added

“Stop crying, it hurts me seeing you like that” Hong ki said

Even though Shin Hye didn’t say anything, Hong ki knew that she’s crying because of Geun Suk.

“Let’s go” he added while holding her hand

“Where are we going?” Shin Hye asked

“We’re going back, inside” he said while pulling her

“No need, I can’t stand looking at them anymore” Shin Hye said

“Then don’t look at them” he said while holding her face.
“Look, if you go home now, you’ll become the loser, why would you like that when you deserve to be the winner” he added


They went back inside, Hongki escorted her. Shin Hye fix herself. As they enter, Geun suk was already looking at them devilishly.

Shin Hye took a deep breath.

“he rarely look at me, and now he’s looking at me in that way, does he really becomes irritated every time he sees me” Shin Hye thought

“oh, I thought you already left” Lee min ho said

“I’m planning to, but I met Hongki outside” Shin Hye smilingly said

Then a sweet song was played and

“hey, Hongki, can I ask your partner for a dance” Lee min ho said

Hong ki look at Shin Hye, seeing if Shin hye wanted to dance with him. Shin Hye smiled as a sign of acceptance then

“sure” Hongki said while giving her hand

“thanks for granting me a dance, It would be my best memory ever” Lee Min ho said

“what are you talking about, you talk like we’re not going to see each other anymore” Shin hye said

Geun Suk can’t stand still; he’s been looking at Shin Hye since she went back. He feels irritated that Shin Hye was talking to Min ho happily.

“damn it! A while ago, its hong ki, now that Min ho, then who’s next” he irritatingly thought while drinking a wine.

“your fiancé is popular with guys, huh?” Yong hwa said

“who cares? And what are they? Blind? She’s not even beautiful” Geun suk said

Truth was, he didn’t want to say it, for him, she’s really beautiful, but the fact that she’s with other guys made him irritated, and he doesn’t want his friend to know it.

The song ended, followed by another sweet song. Hong ki went to Shin Hye and Min ho and ask for her hand, to dance with her.


“He likes you” Hongki said to Shin Hye

“who? Lee Min ho-shii?” Shin Hye asked
“I don’t think so, he’s just being friendly” she added

“that’s what you think, I bet he’s not going to see you anymore” he said

“what do you mean? He’s also talking like this is our last meeting” she said

“see? That’s why I told you that he likes you” he said

Lee min ho likes Shin hye, or should say he fell in love at first sight with Shin Hye. That’s why he needs to stay away from her.

Why?

Because he’s a playboy. His feelings with Shin Hye are sincere, and he doesn’t want to play with her. The only problem was the girls whom he played with, because he know if ever he would be given a chance to be with her this girls will only hurt Shin Hye. And he doesn’t want that.

Shin Hye took a glance with Geun Suk, and she was unlucky enough that the time she looked at him, Geun Suk was happily walking with Uee they’re going outside, and his arms were on her waist.

“damn.” Her heart ached

She’s trying to control her tears, so Hong ki won’t see it. But he can’t fool Hong ki.

“That’s why I told you not to look at them” Hongki sadly said

“anyway, I think you should rest now, I’ll walk you home”

They’re now outside the house. Shin hye wants to bid goodbye to Uee, but she decided not to, because her pain will only increase if she will see them again. She’s going to stepped in the car when someone’s grabbed her hand.

ooohhh! how long before the next? keep them coming. i shouldn't be sitting in front of my pc reading this right now, but i am.
