[Chapter five]
Shin Hye is distracted by watching Sandra and Chloe whispering on the other side of the table.
“Cincha?! Unni! What are you saying!” laughs Sandra.
“don’t misunderstand.. im just saying I don’t mind him being around, that’s all. He is very polite. Something you 3 need to learn.” replies Chloe as she looks back at Manager Song.
“Are you girls listening?” yells Manager Song from the front of the table.
“As I was saying, since we have the photoshoot basically done, we will film the commercial. There isn’t much to do as they filmed your photoshoot and how you were interacting on set last week”
“you were filming us?! We didn’t even look that good!” complains Jessica.
“Ani – that’s the style of this CF! its meant to have the feel of raw and unscripted emotions so people can feel like they can relate to you!” explains Manager Ma as she watches Jessica drop her head in disbelief.
Manager Song continues “Look, we are going to be filming some scenes to add to the commercial so stop complaining already. Have a look at the prep sheet infront of you. Please prepare accordingly for tomorrow and make me proud, arasso?”
Shin Hye looks at her prep sheet and realises fortunately there isn’t much to film. Infact she is one of the last couples scheduled.
“10:15… arrive on set… ahh Chloe Unni has the same schedule as me!” she realises.
“Chloe Unni, you are arriving on set the same time as me on Thursday!” Shin Hye happily mentions.
“Oh, let me know what happens between her and Nic will you?” winks Sandra.
“eh? What do you mean?”
“ahhh—Shin Hye, im thirsty can you get us some drinks please?” interrupts Chloe.
“oh, yes of course Unni. Ill be right back” Shin Hye gets up to walk towards the door. She glances back to see Jessica tugging at Chloe asking her to explain what Sandra Unni was talking about

“Where is this place?” asks Geun Suk as he stares at the grand white building infront of him.
“I dunno, I think Manager Ma said it use to be a government building but is now used as a library” recalls Nic as they look evaluate their surroundings.
“hm, looks nice enough. We should get to wardrobe Nic” says Geun Suk as he walks towards the trailers.
“Ahhh if it isn’t the 2 most handsome boys of R20!” they both turn around to see where the compliment came from.
“Anyong Haeseyo Six” they both reply in unison.
“Anyong Anyong, Well go ahead and change. I think the Shin Hye and Chloe have changed already. Their manager sure is eager, got them here 1 hour ago!” laughs Six as he walks towards the building.
“Shin Hye is here.” Geun Suk thinks. He takes a long breath. “Least she is prepared.”.

“Very good, now this time please walk down the stairs slower. Can we have abit more fan on Shin Hye’s side. Actually, its been a while - lets take a 20min break.” directed Six as he checks the footage.
The sun was getting very strong and Shin Hye was only wearing a red skirt and a white sleeveless top.
“May I get some shelter over here please?” asks Shin Hye politely. Immediately she is covered with a large umbrella.
Shin Hye decides to take a seat on the side and can see Chloe Unni filming her section with Nic. They look so perfect for each other. So perfect that if they had kids they would resemble Shiseido babies she thought. Nic hands Chloe a bottle of water. Shin Hye realises that he is quite the gentleman too – how sweet.
Shin Hye looks at Geun Suk who is busy finishing his own bottle of water.
“I’d be expecting too much from you right? You’ve said 3 things to me all day. One day you are nice to me and the next day you ignore me. Do you really think you’re a rubix cube?” Shin Hye looks at Geun Suk as she mentally attacks him.
Geun Suk is standing in the shade watching Nic and realises Shin Hye is staring at him.
“Take a picture, it lasts longer” he says with a smirk. Shin Hye was about to give him abit of her mind when Geun Suk interrupts. “HONG KI YA?! What are you doing here?!”
Shin Hye looks towards where Geun Suk is squinting at.
“HYUNG!!!!” waves Hong Ki “Annyong Shin Hye!”
“….Oppa? What are you doing here…?” she notices Geun Suk flinch.
Six signals Geun Suk to come over to look at the footage.
“Oh we came to support you two!” Jessica skips past Geun Suk..
“More like you called me and said you had a cool surprise for me! Nuna tricked me” complained Hong Ki with a pout.
“You should never trust a pretty face Hong Ki-ah. Anyways this is your first CF thus its only appropriate for your Unni to be here right?” Jessica replied hugging Shin Hye.
“How’s Chloe Unni and Nic coming along?” Jessica whispers in Shin Hyes ear before parting from their hug.
“what?! By the way, what do you mean Unni called you?” Shin Hye looks at Hong Ki.
“she called me and said she had something cool to show me! What a trick.” Hong Ki is jokingly glaring at Jessica Unni who is searching for Chloe Unni.
“you exchanged numbers?” Shin Hye asked uncertainly.
“Of course. We’re a couple now! It’s the easiest way to communicate. Speaking of which, what’s your number Shin Hye? Just incase.” Innocently smiles Hong Ki holding out his mobile.
“errr ok.. here, ill type it in for you” Shin Hye as she slowly takes his mobile.
“Guess it makes sense to swap numbers with Geun Suk-ssi later” she thinks to herself.

“CUT! The emotion is getting better. But lets take one more. Geun Suk, your ring- its reflecting. Take it off please. Let go again!”
“Sorry. I can’t do that” says Geun Suk suddenly.
“ah-ha-ha perhaps we can just disguise it with tape? Its only because its reflecting right?” Manager Ma rushes in as if he has seen before where this disagreement will lead to.
“Ok fine. Do whatever you need to do, 10 minute break! But bear in mind I want to wrap this up today people!” orders Six.
“Hyung, I’ve noticed on other sets too but why doesn’t Geun Suk Hyung ever take off that ring?” Hong Ki is joined by Nic who just finished his filming..
“You mean you don’t know?!” Nic looks at Hong Ki with raised eye brows.
“Know what?” asks Hong Ki with an equally surprised expression.
“its his big innocent face. I cant ever keep things from him” Nic thinks to himself as he scowls as his own slip.

Geun Suk is exhausted when Six orders another break however he cant help but remember what he saw just before.
“can you see something is off? I need more emotion between Shin Hye and you. Be impulsive!.” Six is busy giving him notes on how to best wrap up the commercial..
Geun Suk sighs. He is tired from the sun and searches for someone to bring him some water but is surprised by the scene he is confronted with.
“What’s Hong Ki saying to Shin Hye.. Cincha?! Are they really exchanging numbers?!” he thinks in disbelief. “Maknaes.”
Geun Suk is unknowingly agitated when he returns to Shin Hye’s side.
He feels he needs to remind Shin Hye that she is his girlfriend. Not Hong Kis .Doesn’t she understand the meaning of loyalty?!

“OK! let's do the last part so we can wrap it all up! Places everyone! Geun Suk .. as previously discussed please. Action!” yells Six.
Shin Hye senses an increase of tension as if she has done something wrong which makes her anxious especially as her Unni is watching. Did Six say something bad about her to him?
They take their places by the steps and proceed to walk down the stairs. As instructed they reach the base of the stairs. Geun Suk with a sudden wave of bravery turns to face Shin Hye and places his left hand gently on her cheek with a soft gaze.
“
Everytime you fall, I promise to catch you...Shin Hye” he finds his lips murmuring words without his consent.
“What did he…Did he speak…?” Shin Hye’s thoughts are a muffle.
As Geun Suk stares into Shin Hye’s large puppy eyes he is amazed by how soft, white and symmetrical her face is.
Her eyes open slightly wider as though she was alarmed for a minuscule of a second however quickly melts into a warm gaze. Her eyes curved into the perfect moon cresent as she smiles….
A dormant feeling starts to ignite “why is it so hot all of a sudden?” Geun Suk thinks to himself as Six interrupts.
“- and cut! PERFECT-O! THANKYOU! Lets pack up and head to the celebration party!” whistles Six as the camera crew all cheer in agreement.
“Oh, there is a celebration party?” Shin Hye asks Geun Suk as he slowly removes his hand from her cheek.
Geun Suk snaps back into his normal mode.
“Ah – umm.. Yea, they throw a party at every opportunity they get” and rolls his eyes dismissively indicating he has been to his fair share of them.
“Come on Shin Hye, lets get you changed and ready to party tonight!!” says Jessica with a wink as she drags Shin Hye off to get changed.
“That wink is never a good sign” Shin Hye thought to herself.
She manages to catch a glance back towards where Geun Suk is standing.
“What was that about?” Shin Hye touches her cheek.
“What was that about?” Geun Suk is left standing by himself in the distance.

"....Do you happen to call anybody who flirts with you Oppa?!” Geun Suk yells.
“WHAT?! HOW DARE YOU? Is that what you really think of me?!”
“You didn’t answer me!”
“No ok! I don’t know what happened tonight and I feel stupid ok. Are you happy now?!”
