I love those lines too, particularly - ....I smile because you are happy..

And the last : ......I let her go because I know her heart will never be mine...

And yet, despite saying those words, he must have been hurt deeply when SH seems to accept HJ again, and maybe that's why he react quickly like that when they met again.

I've been listening repeatedly to the songs JGS sang in the YAB's OST - and smiling silly to myself while driving, just listening to his voice.

Same with me, when i came across this fanfic thread few months ago, sacrifice my precious sleep just to finish all the fanfics. Have you read "Prince and Pauper"? I imagine JGS as he was in Beethoven Virus but with thicker hair. Love his hair, so healthy and luxurious, and he still look good with any style.

I wrongly type the title; should be "The Princess and the Pauper". ..That's the result of being online middle of the night and when eyes are bleary...I notice i keep making typos/errors.

Its not actually a geun-shin pairing. The main characters are JGS as Lee Dong Sun (average income) and PSH as Song Mi Na (rich gal). Still a good read.

@ Rosie, am also glad that this thread is active again, even if for discussion sake, sharing. The reason why I'm into fanfics : Cos a drama project for our fav couple is definitely unsure and so in between CFs, and FMs, these fanfics helps to feel the gaps. Have you read Jaymie's "Perhaps Love"? I enjoyed that, too.

Chapter 21: Feelings after the Meeting X Endurance


“you really helped me there. Thanks” Geun Young said with a gloomy face.

“so what do you want in return?” Geun Young asked

“so rude” Yong Hwa smiled while driving back to their company.

“but since you offered, it will be also rude if I reject, right?” he added with a devilish smile then he stopped the car

“YAH! I know what you’re thinking. I don’t like it!” Geun Young said

“Too late” Yong hwa said while coming closer to Geun young

“I’m going to scream! I’m really going to scre…” before she can continue she felt Yong Hwa’s fingers pinching her both cheeks
“it should be like this. Smile.. “ he said while stretching her cheeks

“stop it! It hurts” Geun Young said

Yong hwa released his hands “You’re not thinking something perverted, do you?” he teased

“Pabo!” Geun Young smiled

“I just need your smile then everything is okay” yong hwa seriously said

Geun Young blushed

“ehhh?? You’re falling in love with me already” Yong Hwa teased

“you wish. Anyway you’re not going to ask who’s him?” Geun Young asked

“No. I don’t want to get hurt” Yong Hwa said while starting the car again.

Hong ki has been quiet since they left the business site. Uee just takes a glance if it’s alright to talk.

“oppa” she called to break the silence. They’re now taking their dinner to a finest hotel restaurant. It took three times to call him before he answered.

“She’s not just your junior right? And your not just her senior, am I right?” she worriedly asked

“Please Uee, let’s not talk about it. Okay?” hongki answered

“okay. I’m sorry” Uee apologized

They remained quiet until he drove her home. Before Uee get inside Hongki embraced her from the back and “I’m sorry” he apologized. Uee turned to face him and smiled “it’s okay” and give him a kiss on the lips.

As soon as Uee get inside, hongki leaned on his seat and “what a playful fate” he sighed.

Geun Suk threw his car keys on his desk and threw himself on the bed, his arms on his forehead.

“what a tiring day” he whispered

“who would believe that after seven long years, we will meet in an unexpected situation”

“seven years huh? But I can’t still forget you. And for seven years, you’re still with him. Damn it!” his heart ached

He stood up and went to his desk. He gets his mobile phone and browsed the image gallery and stop to Shin Hye’s photo.

They are at the top of the Ferris Wheel. While waiting for the other people to go down,

“thanks for bringing me here” Shin Hye said

“it’s nothing” Geun suk said

“it’s my first time to go here, and it’s because of you” Shin Hye said

“then let’s make a remembrance” he shot his phone camera to her

“Yah! I’m not ready” she cutely complained

“it’s okay, nothing’s change, you’re still beautiful” he complimented

“right. Still beautiful from then until now.” And then he sighed

“What should I do? He’s getting married now. He became so far again” she said while still looking at the picture.

“well what do you expect, you’re the one who asked him to stay away from you, stupid” she irritatingly thought

She was destructed when she heard a knock on the door. She quickly wipe her tears, hid the picture, organize herself and ‘Come in” the forced smile came from her lips. It was Kim Hyung Joon.

“I heard” Hyung Joon said as he came in. He’s talking abou the meeting with Geun Suk.

“Well, what a tricky fate, right?” she sarcastically said with a smile.

“By the way, I thought you will be busy for this week, I didn’t expect you to go here” she added to changed the subject.

Hyung Joon didn’t answer her. He just walked closer to where she is and grabs her head to his chest.

“what are you doing?” she asked in confusion

“you’re trying so hard, Miss” He said while patting her head

“eh?”

“I said, for seven years you’re trying so hard not to cry” he explained

“you can cry infront of me, you know” he added

Then without hesitation, Shin Hye burst out with tears.

“I’ll lend you my heart, until your heart become stronger again” he comforted her while caressing her hair.

Hong ki called Uee out to make up for yesterday. They went to the restaurant where they will go to meet Geun Young and Yong hwa later for business.

“I’m sorry” Hongki Apologized

“oppa, it’s okay. I’m telling you it’s alright that’s why there’s no need to apologize” she smilingly said while holding his hand.

“she’s my ex- girlfriend, we broke up in a bad way that’s why I’m really shocked to met her again. He explained

“I understand. Anyway past is past right? So there’s no need to bring that up. But now that you can tell me that, I believe it means you don’t have any feelings for her anymore. Can I believe on that?” she sweetly asked

“ofcourse” he said with a little husky voice.

“Then it’s settled. I’m really glad to hear that. Now let’s eat? I’m already hungry” she smilingly said then she started to eat.

“That’s right! Uee is the one who’s beside you now. You should treasure her and stop getting nervous when you’re with geun Young. Geun Young? Damn! Saying just her name makes me so nervous” He irritatingly thought

“Yah! I told you to stop calling me that. It gives me Goosebumps” She smiling said. But actually she’s getting used to it already.

“well, seeing you now, I guess you’re okay.” Yong Hwa said

“well ofcourse. I’m always okay.” She answered.

They’re in the car to meet Lee Hongki and Uee for the business matters.

‘Do I really have to go with you? You can take care on this on your own, right?’ Geun young nervously asked

‘Thank you for the compliment” yong Hwa sarcastically said

“yah! I’m not joking”

“you know it hurts me to see you like that- getting nervous to see HIM again” he seriously said

“We don’t need to stay for a long time, so just endure it for a bit” he added

“oppa, They’re going to get my measurement’ So Eun said

‘”I can’t today. I have lot to do” he said while typing on his laptop. But the truth is before So Eun came from his office he’s just staring outside blankly.

“busy? Or avoiding HER?” So Eun teased

“hey, why not ask your fiancé to go with you?” he asked

“I can, but I don’t want to”

“and why is that?” he asked curiously

“because if I go with Jun, Shin Hye will find out that you’re not my fiancé and she will think that you’re still waiting for her” So Eun said with a devil smile

“You’re really an evil woman” he said

‘I’ll take that as a compliment” she winked

“but I’m not really waiting for her” he said

“ahh.. okay” she grinned

“It’s true, I’m not denying” he defended

“Well, nobody said that you’re in denial, why so defensive?” So Eun laughed.

Shin Hye woke up with the call of Geu Rin, ‘miss, today is the schedule of Miss Kim So eun’s measurement” she reminded

‘I got it” she said then she hung up. She rolled on her bed and “ah.. My head hurts, it’s because of crying so hard” she said

“You’re still the same Shin Hye from seven years ago- stupid” she whispered

“I promised myself not to cry anymore, but seeing him again made me come back to the past” she thought

“I guess, I’m still not over you” she sighed.
