Jang Keun Suk looks slim and supple when he hides himself in a cardboard box
The set of You Are Pet, the much anticipated upcoming film played by Kim Ha Neul and Jang Keun Suk, was made public.
At 5 p.m. on July 6, the scenes of You Are Pet were being shot, in which the two lead characters happened to meet in the rain in an awkward silence.
You Are Pet is a romantic comedy featuring a love story of a man and a woman who love their pets and go through several difficulties together, finally to be grown up as a matured adult.
In the film, Kim Ha Neul plays Ji Eun-ee, who is endowed with both intelligence and beauty but a fool in making social relations, especially with men, while Jang Keun Suk plays Kang In-ho, who becomes a pet guy of Eun-ee and creates a sweet, romantic love story with her.
That day, the set was prepared to shoot its first scene, in which Eun-ee comes across In-ho sitting crouched in a cardboard box in front of her house. To create the scene of their first meeting in the rain, the three water sprinklers were brought in, and Jang had to stay in the cardboard box, sopped in the rain for a while.
The box, as large as three pieces of apple boxes combined, must have been small for a male adult, but his slim and supple body allowed him to play In-ho crouching in the box until he wiggles his way out of the box when Eun-ee kicks. When he completely gets out of the box, he jumped to be nestled in Eun-ee’s arms, as if he were desperately waiting for a person who kicks him out.
The atmosphere of the set was great when the two shows enthusiasm in creating satisfying scenes, meticulously checking the results with the director.
The movie’s original source is the comic book, entitled You Are Pet as well, of a popular Japanese writer. The shooting of half of the scenes have already been completed. It is scheduled to release in the second half year.
