Taecyeon Says He’s Too Scared to Date Celebrities—Even Park Shin Hye?

2PM‘s Taecyeon revealed that he is too scared to date celebrities.

On the June 12 episode of tvN‘s “Three Meals a Day,” the second part of Ji Sung‘s countryside visit is aired. At night, while Ji Sung shares sweet dating stories about himself and his wife Lee Bo Young, Taecyeon confesses, “I’m too afraid to date celebrities.”

Hearing this, Kim Kwang Gyu asks the idol, “Even if it’s Park Shin Hye? You don’t know Park Shin Hye’s phone number?”

At this, Taecyeon responds, “I don’t know Park Shin Hye’s number,” and Kim Kwang Gyu wastes no time calling her on his own phone.

Taecyeon becomes shy at the sudden phone call with Park Shin Hye, and the others laugh at his innocent side.

Meanwhile, tvN’s “Three Meals a Day” airs every Friday at 9:45 p.m. KST.

That's what results from being the youngest and the only one from his generation....
It was all in fun and the three older guys enjoyed themselves thoroughly pulling Taecyeon 's legs. Even, I could not help laughing .

I think after the call ended......even JIS was saying to Taecyeon something about Shinhye being cute? That's what it seemed like to me. Are they all being matchmakers? Well they do look good together .....but so many do.....that's not the problem. The real issue is when will it be the right one?

He seems a really nice guy from whatever I have seen until now. He was a really good sport about the whole teasing. I have to give full marks to Shinhye for putting him at ease with her conversation hearing what was happening at the other end.

I would like him to be her friend. In fact, knowing Shinhye.....I am sure this cast must already be good friends with her.....
Do hope she visits 3MAD again.....

If you watch Taecyeon's dramas videoclips, etc. where he is either teased or asked about ladies he had worked with, he seemed to be cool, confident and matter-of-factly....but in this show, this particular scene as well as the interview before where he was asked to describe Shin-hye, he acted like he was a young teen-ager shy, self-conscious. slightly embarrassed, and just totally unable to keep his cool, collected self. I am thinking: IF THERE WAS NOTHING to the teasing, IF THERE WAS NO TRUTH to the teasing, would this be the way he would react? We've got to watch future episodes and see if there is any more mention of PSH.
In previews of future guests, it appears they had another female guest come alone...but the clip didn't show Taecyeon taking the girl to the heart-shaped field. It showed them either planting or collecting veggies. Honestly, it's hard to keep being interested in the show now that they have other guests. I wonder if viewership ratings also declined?

Will be nice to have the English subs. Seriously, maybe we ought to not set our hopes high for all we know Taecyeon has some special friend somewhere....although it's his admission that he is afraid to date celebrities. (could he be hiding a non-celebrity girl-friend?) You know guys? I believe love conquers all...so if he reflects in the next weeks and then decides that he does like her then he might just follow the example of Ji Sung,since it's reported that they became buddies during JS's guesting.
Though Taecyeon acts silly sometimes, and other occasions he seems bit careless (like throwing the salt everywhere in one episode), still he is an "awesome" guy: with his popularity as a rapper and singer, he agreed to this kind of a variety show. It was he who first started the fire in the first episodes, it was he who started planting potatoes, it was he who completed the cultivating of the huge field (and where did the idea of a heart-shaped field come from, we wonder?). It was he who started building the stove, it was he who took Minky to the grooming place. He seems to be a responsible person. (of course, it seems he has always been responsible, he decided to make his OkCat a business, which it was said, earned US$1M in 10 months, he did surgery for his eyes and his shoulder so he could pass the army test, he enrolled in graduate business course)...he's altogether a good match for PSH who is also a serious actress, a hardworking and no-nonsense person. A nice guy like Taecyeon is a good match for an equally nice girl like PSH.
