Hi everyone. Firstly, I would like to say sorry to the administrators of threads because I've been posting about TMAD, Taec and Shin Hye here, there and everywhere
So quoting Taec i would like to say "Sorry, so sorry but I love you" (please delete the last line "it is all lies"
I felt so sad when it was time for Shin Hye to leave the farm while watching ep 17 and you could feel that the atmosphere turned from jovial to somber as all I heard were sighings everywhere and the deepest sighs came from Taec, I bet it could be heard all over Oksunbong.
I specially adored the moment, when Shin Hye refused to hand Eddy to Taec when it was almost time for her to leave saying her car was still on its way. I don't know if she was just trolling or really upset when she told the TMAD staff that Taec was trying to send her off immediately. To my eyes, Taec suddely turned serious, looked at Shin Hye and in a tone I could not decipher answered: " I am not trying to send you off".
If I am putting too much meaning to this, does it mean I am "shipping" them? I am not a millennial so I really don't know how to use that word? What is shipping anyway? For me, I adore seeing those two together, it makes me so happy to see Taec being so carefree and giddy and appreciating all the things around him.
As I have said before that I have been an avid watcher of TMAD since season 1 and I have never seen Taec so giddy, so excited and happy with that goofy grin plastered all over his face except when Shin Hye was the guest. Even the so-called connection between him and Go Ara, as a viewer I did not feel his excitement. Yes he was well-mannered and attentive but without the spontaneous delightful craziness he displayed when Shin Hye was around. I felt really and sincerely happy for Taec, I even thought that being with Shin Hye in four episodes was his reward handed down from the heavens for being the most hardworking one in Oksunbong
It felt like introducing or matching your best friend to someone you think suits him best since you only want the best for him
So if this is "shipping", I guess I'm guilty as charged
Yes, sis journoexpat.... you are already "shipping" you're guilty as charged... and so are we all in this thread/topic. ha! ha! don't worry... we actually enjoy each other's posts especially when we're in that "shipping" mode.for the two.
Oh so you did hear also the deep, deep sighs... What do those sighs mean? He was sorry she had to leave? He was sorry the episode ended? He was sorry he didn't "make the move"? He was sorry they didn't exchange numbers? His face becoming almost expressionless as the PSH's car left actually tells it all.
The nice thing about him is that after a few minutes, he seemed to have bounced back as he was writing the letters to all the guests who were being sent some farm produce....He was his usual happy gufawwing self.
It was funny how he turned serious when he said, "No I am not trying to send you off." There were a few moments of just quiet glances, exchanges and looks that we can't really tell what they were saying to each other. I almost thought, they both were trying to hang on to each and every minute they could be together.
He's the local teenage neighborhood boy or boy next door who has a not-so-hidden crush on someone when he is with PSH... but watch him when he is with his hyungs during the last episode... he turns bit more his age... speaking, talking, discussing like a guy in his late 20's.
Yes, his interaction with Go Ara in the first season didn't have the kind of excitement he showed with PSH. This is probably why the elders and PD Na played up his "liking" PSH... Actually we all could tell that he was feeling this little tingling, exciting feeling when he was interviewed the first time... just watch how he closed his eyes for a few seconds... Nobody does that if there isn't some of that initial feelings of attraction.
But anyway... let me just say that since the series is over... it's much safer if we also left it all like that... and just be on the lookout for any news about them connecting from here now on after 3MAD. I am trying to avoid having a third broken heart here... so I'll just keep a neutral stance... though I'm crossing my fingers that we'll all be delighted with some good news in the near future. Whether they do or do not move any further from their 3MAD status of "unofficial couple" we'll hope each will find the person who will make them happy for life. If it is anyone of those we had shipped before with her, it would be nice...if it is OTY that would be very nice... if it is another... we'll leave it to fate.
Meantime, both are returning to school... so let's wish them luck.... may they do well in their academic endeavors.
Thank you dear sisters... let's keep connecting..
Thanks sis journoexpat for your comments... love your candidness.
