Park Shin Hye Talks about Searching for Her Ideal Husband on “Some Guy, Some Girl”

On June 2′s episode of “Some Guy, Some Girl,” members Chae Jung Ahn, Chae Yeon, and Yoon So Yi have a candid talk about love and relationships with some of their friends, including actress Park Shin Hye.


While they discuss whether marriage should be the ultimate goal while pursuing a relationship, Park Shin Hye speaks up and says, “My dream was to get married.”

Chae Yeon asks her why that’s been her goal, and she replies, “Watching my mom and dad made me want to raise a loving family like the two of them did. I thought I was going to get married at 23.”

When asked when she wants to get married now, she says, “At about thirty? But honestly, since my goal is to get married, I find that when I meet guys, I’m always looking for someone who’s like my dad.”

“All the guys have their own good points,” she says. “But as I’m dating, even if I meet a nice person, I end up seeing their bad points first. And I just compare them with my dad. It’s pretty bad.”

“My dad is very family-oriented,” she explains.

Shinhye's dream is to get married..... as years passed... she's thinking by age 30. I wish for her to meet her Mr. Right. A family oriented man like her father.... She and her brother are blessed with warm and loving family. Her standard gauge is her father and she tend to compare thus seeing her dates's "bad points"

Still young at the age of 25, Park Shin Hye shared that she wants to get married quickly.

On the June 2 broadcast of SBS’ Some Men, Some Women, Chae Jung An invited her friends to a home party. Park Shin Hye, who was invited, shared that she wants to get married quickly.



“I got this dream of marriage after seeing my mom and dad. I want to live with a happy family like my parents. So I wanted to get married when I was 23-years old.”

But as she’s passed that age, Park Shin Hye added, “I want to marry around 30, but my standards for men have gotten quite picky.”

“Because my goal has become marriage, I keep searching for guys who are like my dad. Every person has his strengths and flaws, but because I keep trying to fit him in to be like my dad, I keep seeing his flaws first than his strengths. I kept comparing men to my dad. It’s not very good.”
